My family spent 2 wonderful weeks in August at this property. We lived at the beach and on the wonderful screened porch. The house was great, very clean and had enough room for everyone to spread out. Hope we all get back there next summer!!!

Michiana Shores is filled with nature and a friendly community. Staying at this beautiful modern log home made it that much more special. The home is very inviting with its lush green soft-scape. The home itself is sun filled with great views of the outdoors. This well maintained home also features modern amenities and great architectural detail. My family shared a five day vacation with my in-laws. There were plenty of activities inside the home and the property is just a short walk to the beach. My twin daughters enjoyed walking around and experiencing nature. They were amazed at the deers that foraged in the yard, the chipmunks that scattered about and the bluejays that perched singing over the towering oaks. I have expressed to my wife that I would like to come back before the summer ends. Thank you Corinne and your family, you have made this summer very special for my family.

Your house was terrific. We liked the comfortable living room seating and good beds!!! My 6 year old twin granddaughters being city kids really enjoyed the "country" and the "space". They collected, of course, lots of beach rocks and got to go horseback riding—the highlight—so the trip was a success! Also they were amazed when spotting a doe and her fawn in the yard!

Our party of 7 stayed in August of 2010. The home owners are very accommodating and keep well-kept home. Yard is great for outdoor activities and in a very peaceful, secluded location. Weber grill will serve your needs. Screened in porch with fireplace is perfect in the evenings with ample space and keeps insects away. Stereo connection a plus. Beach is two block walk and plenty of towels and outdoor equipment is provided. Beach has perfect sand and never crowded. Excellent reference book will help you with the area. Would highly recommend!

We have rented this house for the past 2 years and intend to come back again and again. The house is in a great location with a beautifully landscaped yard and an amazing screened-in porch. It is incredibly kid-friendly, clean and comfortable. Corinne has done a great job of stocking the house with everything you need for a beach vacation. You can pretty much come empty-handed and still have everything you need. Everyone who has visited us here has said that it is one of the best rentals they have seen in Michiana. We encourage anyone looking for a beach rental to take advantage of this wonderful home.

Corinne I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to rent your cottage in Michiana Shores (6/22 - 7/3/2010) You have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. Some of us are already talking about return plans for next year. I've rented during the summer in Michiana for many years and found your cottage to be one of the nicest. The location is absolutely ideal in that it is a pleasant, short walk to the beach, nearby the walking/biking trail that meanders along the creek and it is located on a quiet street between two great parks that not only have play equipment for kids, but also tennis courts. In addition, the screened in porch is so inviting and conducive for entertaining or just sitting and observing the deer in the mornings and the evenings - we were visited several times during our stay by a doe and her two fawns. Another great feature of the cottage is that it has a large yard allowing plenty of area for children to play and catch fireflies/lightening bugs. Upon arrival we found the cottage clean and everything in working condition along with a helpful instruction/visitor manual.
