We were so blessed to have spotted this jewel on the web while searching for a venue to have a small outdoor wedding in Montana. From the pictures on the website you get a good idea what this place has to offer, but wait until you arrive and see for yourself how truly special Lake Blaine Mountain Resort is! Spectacular scenery, beautiful grounds, and Montana's wonderful fall weather was the backdrop for this intimate family affair. Wedding guests commented how perfect the setting was for a wedding and how breathtaking it all was. And the most important comment was that of the bride and groom, who simply stated it was more than they could of asked for! With two uniquely beautiful dwellings on the property there was plenty of room for family to stay each with their own decks to take in the stunning views and host Tom and Julie thought of nearly every amenity to provide that "home away from home" feel. Family enjoyed the extended weekend, kayaking, a trip up to Glacier Park, our favorite cajun shrimp pasta at the Bigfork Inn, shopping in Whitefish and just simply relaxing. With so many things to do in the Flathead, this place is perfectly located to enjoy them all. Our heartfelt thanks to Tom and Julie for sharing your place with us! We will be back!
Owner response:Initially we were not plannning on having any weddings at our resort. Thankfully, this family was very conscientious and responsible for all the details involved in planning their wedding. We were happy that they convinced us to take a chance. We wish them nothing but the best. Tom & Julie

We stayed at this property just after Labor Day weekend. My husband and I travel a lot and have been fortunate to stay in some very nice homes and hotels. This property is at the very top of our list. The setting is incredible. The mountains almost start in the back yard. The front porch looks out at the lake and you see blue water, gold fields, and blue mountains. It was an incredible combination and we did not want to leave the front porch! The location is perfect....close to the west entrance of the park, close to Kalispel, and close to several small towns like Whitefish for shopping and dining. The owners, Julie and Tom, have thought of every detail for the home. I have already recommended this home to several of my friends and plan to stay again soon.
Owner response:Thanks Karen, What a wonderful surprise. You were one of our very favorite guests. We really appreciate your kind words. Tom & Julie Evans

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Blaine Mountain Resort which was the "turning around point" of a three week trip to a number of our National Parks. The directions to the property were well detailed and correct. We were met by the owners for a personal orientation of the house and we found everything to be in "like new" condition. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and even mailed home some items we accidently left behind. It is a great place to stay to visit Glacier National Park and we would recommend it highly. It is a very rural and scenic location.
