If you are looking for more than just a beach vacation, you must stay at Phoenix on the Bay. Water views abound and water activities are the focal point of this amazing resort. Bring your boat, we have not only a boat ramp but also boat slips you can rent. Keep your boat in the water right at the resort so it is ready whenever you are. A great fishing cleaning area is conveniently located near the docks and between all of the charcoal grills. When you aren't relaxing in the condo, watching the flat screen TV or cooking in the gourmet kitchen, you can be taking a lazy float in the lazy river. Plenty of tubes, no waiting. If not in a lazy water mood, then take a slide down the waterslide, or just watch the kids from the balconey as they slide down the slide into the lazy river.
You can also go up on the roof and play tennis, or down near the docks for some putting on the large putting green. Bring your kayak and paddle out to the islands just offshore. If it is possible to get tired of all of the resort activities, you can always hop in the car and go shopping or dining. The Wharf entertainment complex is just down Canal Road. Movie theaters, sports bars, restaurants, shops, clubs, a marina and even an amphitheater. Oh, and if you need to sit in the sand and look for jellyfish, the beach is just 3 miles away by car, much less by boat.
You can also drive over to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, just 40 minutes away, and watch the Blue Angels practice, then tour the Naval Air Museum for a great morning.

Le Ann is a Nanny and I am a marketing professional with a software company. We love to travel when not working, and when we travel we love water sports and activities. Granted an "activity" can also be enjoying the view with a nice bottle of wine.
Why the Owner Chose Phoenix On The Bay
We always thought the beach was the thing. Like most vacationers, the impulse is to look for beaches first. We have a few beach front units but after a few years we realized that being on the bay is much more fun, much more to do. The beach is nice for a little while but being able to boat, kayak, fish and view the wildlife of the bay, then take a float on the lazy river is much more fun. Some day we hope to retire at this wonderful resort.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Being able to walk down an hop on the boat is awesome. Taking a float on the lazy river is the ultimate in relaxation. Kayaking to the numerous little islands of Perdido Bay is incredible.

Great Condo...Even Greater Owners!

We spent nearly six weeks in this condo in comfort, clean surroundings and safety. Had everything we needed for daily living and entertaining family and guests for dinner or just visiting. The grounds are meticulous and the condo was neat and CLEAN when we arrived. So very important when traveling many miles to reach your destination. Comfortable, clean and convenient. Can't ask for more. However, even more importantly, the owners, Le Ann and Mike were like old friends from the start. Not only friendly and helpful, they were always available if needed and very understanding of our needs. So, the two together, condo and owners, made for the best stay we have had in 5 years of "SnowBirding" in Orange Beach. Our only other hope is we will be able to spend another vacation with them.
