Charming private 300-year old family summer house on Mishaum Point (a gated community), South Dartmouth, MA - approximately 5 miles from the town of Padanarum in Buzzard's Bay, a thriving sailing community.
The house is reflective of the whaling community that once defined New Bedford.
Along with the 4 bedrooms there is a cozy 5-bed loft. The working fireplace is set on a natural stone hearth. Along with two bathtubs there is an indoor and outdoor shower. In back of the house is a small fenced-in yard with a round table and chairs.
The house is surrounded by 2 1/2 acres of privacy. Ocean is close by on both sides of Mishaum Point. There is access to a swimming pier, inlet creek, and beach.
This is an especially beautiful place to bike with many conservation areas to explore.
There is a local environmental center(The Lloyd Center) which includes nature walks and kayaking.
Feasible for two couples with children to enjoy-perfect for young and old alike.
