Relax in the peaceful valley of Tres Rios de Coronado. Casa del Gekko, a very private 3 bedroom home is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Located on a mountainside with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the valley of Tres Rios. A bird watchers paradise, toucans, parrots, trogons and sometimes even monkeys can be seen right from the patio. Several beaches are nearby: Playas Ventanas, Ballena and Tortuga to mention just a few.
The house is fully equipped and there is maid service twice per week.
If you enjoy hiking this is a perfect spot. The valley of the Coronado River is incredibly beautiful. Countless waterfalls and pools suitable for swimming are within just minutes walking distance from the house. Also available nearby: scuba/snorkeling tours to Cano Island, trips to Corcovado National Park (the most biodiverse spot on the planet), deep sea fishing, zip-line canopy tours, kayaking, horseback riding and numerous other activities.

  • We stayed a week end at the Casa del Gekko and we absolutly loved the place. It's magic!!! We decided to come back as soon as we can and enjoy a longer stay.

  • We stayed at the Casa del Gekko for a week in May, 2009 and absolutely loved it! Tony and Linda went above and beyond to be sure that we had an enjoyable time. This was our first visit to Costa Rica, but now we can't wait to plan a return trip!

  • We stayed in the Gekko house for two weeks in January 2009, and can thoroughly recommend it as a very comfortable house, surrounded by a large garden with mature plants and a mass of flowers. The view is great, and nearby, there are lots of activities.
