Our whole family, including all four kids, was really excited about this vacation because of the pictures and video for this property. We were not disappointed. The pictures don't do it justice because of the modern architecture -- there are so many curves and twists and surprises -- it was one of the most visually interesting homes I've ever visited. And, as you can tell from the pictures, the view is amazing -- you can even see the ocean from the master bathroom -- its nuts! Every need was attended to -- beach chairs, umbrella, dishes, blankets. They even had spices in the kitchen -- nothing makes me crazier than trying to cook and having to go buy salt and pepper for three days. Additionally, every light switch and thermostat was labelled, which made a huge difference because this property is huge -- figuring out the lighting would require a PhD without the labels. Two employees of the owner stopped by on our first day to check on us and make sure everything was in working order -- we noticed a ceiling fan that wasn't responding to the remote control and he promptly fixed it and took out our trash to boot. When I had questions during our stay, the owner texted me back within minutes. We used all the bedrooms on every level which would have meant lots of stairs, but the elevator never failed us and got lots of use (it even has a light so it's friendly at night!). The lifeguard chair is almost directly in front of this house, which gave us great piece of mind while the kids played in the water. And the beach had a few families, but was nice and peaceful and not filled with giant groups of teenagers. And it was a quick drive to all sorts of attractions and restaurants, which was a big improvement over where we stayed in Sandbridge last year (Sorry, Sandbridge!). Property was clean and well-maintained and I would definitely recommend. Don't let all the white furniture scare you off if you have kids -- it's leather and wipes up easily and there is an outdoor shower and plenty of doormats to get those sandy feet clean before you come in. One word of caution for the mobility-impaired -- the main living room, which leads to the fabulous deck, is down four stairs, so it is not wheelchair accessible. Because of the elevator, all of the other rooms are wheelchair accessible, however. Can you tell we loved it?Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family (including two little granddaughters, 3 yrs and 3 mos) enjoyed this lovely home on our first visit to Va Beach. We would highly recommend this property, which is everything the video projected. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The beachfront was practically private to the homes located in the area. We enjoyed watching the pelicans "fish" and the daily dolphin parades. It was a thoroughly relaxing and happy vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for a short mini vacation. We desperately needed some time off and this lovely home met every single one of our needs. From the great view, jacuzzi tub to immediate access to the beach - our vacation was relaxing and the owners were equally fantastic. I absolutely plan on returning to this home for my next vacation. This is a one of kind house run by one of kind folks! It is like staying inside a conch shell! Beautiful, interesting and fun house and the owners could not have been more responsive or any nicer. Highly recommend this location which is quiet yet close enough to shopping and restaurants to be the perfect location. Can't wait to come back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway.

From the first initial contact to the last our experience was great. The owners could not have been more helpful and willing to do whatever necessary to make our trip the best. The house is amazing and was a place that made you feel "right at home". It was clean, neat, and family friendly. We had access to everything that we needed from beach chairs to a pizza cutter!! The location is great. You are separated enough, yet close enough to only be minutes away from restaurants, grocery store (farm fresh), and entertainment (MotorWorld). Thank you for such a Wonderful - Relaxing - Much needed - Vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
