Great for a big family

This apartment was fantastic for our family of 10 ranging in age from 76 to 10. We all had enough room to spread out and find some privacy. Big living area and dining table with great views of the neighbourhod including the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The location is great because it is right beside a Metro station (for example, takes 6 minutes to get to the Musee D'Orsey) and within easy walking distance of the Luxembourg Garden, which is a fantastic place to hang out with the locals for a day and sail boats in the pond. A residential neighbourhood with many little food shops around. Restaurants tend to be pricey but what isn't in Paris? Being there in August, everyone is on holidays so the street parking was free but many stores and restaurants are closed for the month which was frustrating. The owner was very easy to deal with and prompt in her replies. If you have a cat allergy beware that there is a resident cat when the owner is at home.

Great Place - really a perfect location!

A group of eight of us stayed here in August 2011. First off, the place is fairly large by Paris standards. We had plenty of place to sleep, eat, and relax. While we almost always took the stairs up, there is an elevator for times when you have luggage or groceries. And the building is nice and quiet, with a fun view of the Eiffel Tower. But the best part about this apartment for us was the location. At first, the corner it's on seemed a little too quiet, but we soon realized that within two blocks in any direction, there was a LOT of activity: Luxembourg Gardens, of course, but also a great street market on Boulevard Raspail, small restaurants on Rue Vavin, everything in Montparnasse, and another area just east that has crepe shops and fruit stands. And, best of all, there's a Velib stand right around the corner, right with the subway station. So transportation to other parts of the city was easy also. The woman who owns the apartment met us right when we arrived, and everything was ready to go. She made the stay really easy.

I reserved this for my clients for their stay in July and they loved it! They loved the convenienct location, the view of the Eiffel Tower and the roominess of the apartment. Marina (owner) was awesome to work with and readily available to anwer any of our questions. My clients came home with many great memories of Paris. Thank you!

April in Paris

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. We stayed here during the Paris Marathon in April. We were a family of 9, six adults and three young children. The apartment is in a great location for all of the attractions of Paris with the metro being very convenient. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and I would recommend it for a family group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was the first time we had rented a place and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived to when we left. The business transaction was smooth and stress-free and the owner, Marina was wonderful to work with. The location is excellent: near enough to everything in Paris one might want to see, yet away from the more tourist-filled areas. Everyone we dealt with in the neighborhood was pleasant and helpful, and coming home to the beautiful apartment was always pleasant. We were here over the year-end holidays and were fortunate to have a white Christmas, and though the weather was cold, Paris is a great place to visit in any season or weather and I hope we can come here again some day!

We stayed here in July of 2010, and were thrilled with the apartment. We came with another family and there was more than enough room for 4 adults and 3 young children. Having the extra space made our vacation so much more relaxed and enjoyable than staying in a hotel. The location and the spectacular views could not be beat!

Our stay in Paris was wonderful! We were glad to stay in an apartment that was in a safe, residential area and experience true Paris living. The spacious apartment was clean and well-maintained and located very near to public transportation, a market and just a few blocks from a bustling strip of restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed the views of the Eiffel Tower, in the morning and all lit up at night!

Our family of 6 (4 kids ranging in age from 16 to 26) stayed in this spacious apartment over Christmas week. We were welcomed by Marina, who had set up a decorated Christmas tree, and left a table full of champagne and table gifts and a cupboard full of delicious treats to make our holiday stay extra special. The apartment is beautiful, light and airy, with huge French doors onto the stone balcony in the living room, dining room/kitchen, studio and three of the bedrooms. The street is quiet, but opens onto Blvd Raspail. It is within a block or two of several subway stations, restaurants, GREAT markets that are open at all hours, and is within a very short walk of the Jardin du Luxembourg, slightly (but easy) further to the Seine, the Pantheon, or St-Germain-des-Pres. The views of the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides are jaw-dropping--we just kept staring (and snapping) out the many windows. ALL of us were charmed, NONE of us wanted to leave, and we can't wait to return! AND our hosts were easygoing and pleasant throughout. THANKS! - Rainer and family

We had a fabulous time staying in Marina and Eric's beautiful apartment. We felt like we were living like true Parisiennes - the artwork and decor is very stylish but still comfortable and welcoming. The view of the eiffel tower was spectacular. There was plenty of space for 3 kids and the luxembourg gardens are extremely close. Marina and Eric made us feel extremely welcome and looked after us beautifully.

A cool,peaceful,well equipped,welcoming apartment.Beds were comfortable and our family of 6 (including grandchildren)loved it. We watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night.We eat great dinners locally and walked in the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens .Buses and the Metro are all close by .If you rent this apartment you will love it.

We had a great time staying in this lovely apartment. We have 4 young children and there was plenty of room, and even with the children we could walk right into the centre of Paris through the lovely left bank. The owners marina and Eric could not have been more helpful to us.
