Valle de Bravo is a really nice colonial style town next to a beautiful lake with the most variety of activities a vacation town can offer. Water ski, parapenting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, go-karting, motor sports, running, racquet sports, bird watching, shopping, art galleries, walking around town, etc.. are only a few of the many activities around town.
Location, location, location:
The house is located on the edge of town and has an amazing view of the lake. It is one of eight homes in a secure gated community with great neighbors (which share a pool and paddle tennis court). The town's main "plaza", markets, churches, shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the lake's main pier are at a short walking distance. Any other activities are at most 10 minutes away, by car.
Shuttle services are available from Mexico City and Toluca airport (a complete listing of services, do's and don'ts and tips to get here safe and fast is available upon request). There is no need for a car, if you get tired of walking or wish to play golf or any other activities not close to town, the taxi services in Valle are reliable and safe. A complete list with activities, their approximate costs and contact info is available in the house.
The Service:
There are two maids daily, $20 per day for the service. They have worked in the house for the past 15 years, so they know their way around everything. They sleep in the maid’s quarters, so they are available and at your service at any time from breakfast to dinner. If there is anything to brag about this house, is them.
You will be pampered!!! The cook knows a variety of dishes, but to make the decisions easier, we have a menu from which you can choose the next day's meal's and they will either shop for the ingredients needed while you relax with an in-house massage therapist (ask the maids to make an appointment, house comes with professional massage bed) or accompany them to the very entertaining town market.
They will clean the house, turn down beds and try to fulfill any special requests. Ohhhh, don’t forget to ask for their great micheladas and margaritas!!!
The House Itself:
On the top floor there is a spacious living room with a great fire place which will be fired up for you at any time. There is a music system with speakers throughout the house; the system comes with a wide variety of cd’s.
Next to the living room there is an outdoor dining table and terrace, and on the other side, an indoor dining table that doubles as a gaming table next to a spacious buffet/bar. On the same floor, the spacious kitchen and outdoor grills are usually governed by Gloria unless you can’t hold back on that tempting Argentinean style grill and your inner chef appears.
The next floor down has three master bedrooms (2 Kings, 1 Queen), each with great bathrooms and reading lounges, and another terrace with a plunge pool. On the third floor down, you will find a bedroom with a King bed and one twin bed, its own bathroom and a private terrace. (This room is great for kids or a couple with kids!) On that same floor there’s a TV/ Entertainment room with satellite TV and a nice library of DVD’s.

This truly is an amazing house with beautiful views and wonderful staff. Everything is provided, the attention to detail is first class. Gloria and Ali cooked beautiful meals for us most nights and we enjoyed the Margaritas on the terrace. A wonderful breakfast was also served here each morning. They are well set up for children which made our stay with a 10 month old baby hassle free. The house is well situated, a short walk to the square, shopping, restaurants and the lake. We loved our 5 day stay and were reluctant to leave. Rex, Lyn, Ben, Kayli and Max (Australia)
