We just returned to Ohio after spending a week at this Lake house. The home is beautiful and the views of the water and mountains are awesome. We appreciate that Jodi and her family are willing to share such a wonderful home with others. We enjoyed the large Kitchen and family dining areas. Jodi went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The home had everything we needed, linens, beach towels, cooking utensils, flashlights, washer/dryer and cleaning supplies. We had six adults and five kids under the age of 10 and the only thing required was a trip to the (Walmart) grocery store in Susanville. There was also a smaller store only 10 miles away in Chester. Our weather was awesome the entire time we were there. Walking trails very close to this home. The listing description and photos are accurate. The home was clean and organized.

Fabulous Family Reunion

After viewing the photos online, my kids were very excited to go on vacation! We were not disappointed! The house was clean and comfortable! It was wonderful cooking in the beautiful kitchen and dining on the deck with the sunset as our backdrop. So lovely. I highly reccommend this home to anyone wishing for a quiet vacation that can also entertain three young children. Thanks ever so much!

We rented this VRBO for several couples to stay while we were in town for a 20 year high school reunion. It was absolutely perfect...plenty of room, beautiful view, on the water, several decks to hangout on, and great location for those that wanted to golf. Although, we did not have children with us, it is extremely kid friendly and we can't wait to come back next summer with our children for a family vacation. Thank you Jodi for sharing your beautiful home.

Our Labor Day family reunion

Our family has a yearly Labor Day reunion at Lake Almanor, as we used to live there it has great sentimental meaning to our family. This home has everything you could ever want for a wonderful family vacation, very clean and spacious with more than enough bedrooms to accommodate 3 families, lots of great amenities both indoor and outdoor including two very beautiful large decks, outdoor fire place on main deck with two other fun fire pits to enjoy family time around the fire. Great boat dock to either boat from or fish off of - caught lots of fish too. Would highly recommend this home for your next family vacation at Lake Almanor - we will go back again.

What a nice home on the lake. We really enjoyed our vacation in this lovely home. Great location for perfect ski water in the morning. We caught a couple of green bass and a rock bass off he dock. The water trampoline and diving board were a big hit with the kids. Watched the Chester fireworks from the lower deck, what a treat. We'll definately rent again.

I rented this home because the home I have rented for the last 3 years on the Peninsula was rented out from under me, and what a stroke of luck! A friend of mine sent me the link to this home and said it would be perfect for my annual family vacation. They were right! There were 3 of my 5 children there with their significant other and my Grandson, along with our friends and their two kids. We had the best time ever at this home and Jodi was such a sweetheart, she showed up the day we arrived to be sure everything was clean and ready. We caught several small mouth bass off the dock in their backyard and had them for dinner that night. We were able to dock and tie up our boat there which was a nice change from having to rent a slip in the marina on the Peninsula. The house and kitchen are beautifully equipped, comfortable, warm and inviting. It's obvious there was a lot of thought and love that went into the buildinging of this home. I think I'll stop here before I promote this beautiful vacation home out from under me. I have already asked for my same dates for next year. You can't go wrong with this vacation home.
