Our condo is located north of Lahaina on the oceanfront, between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, our one bedroom condo sits right on the water's edge. Any closer and you'll need a snorkel:)
This charming "home away from home" condo is decorated with lovely island, beach house decor and original Maui Art. The strictly "blue-water views" and spectacular sunsets will take your breath away!
The entire island of Maui is beautiful, but staying in an direct oceanfront condo can make all of the difference in the quality of your holiday.
Enjoy the private oceanfront, extra-large heated swimming pool, tennis, shuffleboard and lush tropical gardens.
Grill fresh island fish at the oceanfront gas grills.
Dine on your private lanai while you watch whales (in winter), sea turtles, and dolphins play.
The Kuleana Resort #415 sits in a prime location, on the water's edge and far from any parking or street noise.
This is a highly requested location from repeat visitors.
Unit #415 has a fully equipped kitchen area. The KING-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized sofabed in the living area will accommodate up to four people.
The lovely sandy beach, just below our condo is at the whim of Mother Nature and the sea currents. This happens rarely 2-3 times within the past 10 years, but soon comes back. When the beach is not present, we have enchanting tidepools for exploring the sealife.
Hawaiian green sea turtles love the area along our oceanfront and many have made there permanent home here.
We do not smoke and ask our guests not to smoke inside the condo or on the lanai. Many Mahalos:)

I am Janice. My husband is Terry. Our primary home is in Utah, but we love traveling, especially to our Maui condo.
Why the Owner Chose Mahinahina
We love our private beach!! After our first trip to Maui and the Kuleana Resort, we knew that we were hooked. We waited to buy, until a condo in the perfect location in the 400 building, came up for sale. When #415 was put on the market, we did not hesitate to purchase. Our condo is right on the water's edge and has a magical atmosphere. We have been very happy here and look forward to retiring to our condo one day. In the meantime, it is a pleasure to be able to share it with our rental guests.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It is unusual to find a condo in such a perfect location. It sits uniquely close to the water's edge. We do not have noise from the parking lot or road. We just hear the gentle sounds of the surf.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. The location could not be better. The condo sits just steps from the ocean and a small sandy beach. The upstairs location also insures an unobstructed view from the lanai, which we took advantage of for hours. The sea turtles were in abundance just off shore and near the rocks and we were so happy to be here during whale season. We had wonderful views Molokai and Lanai and the sunsets were stunning. The king size bed was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the window air conditioner in the bedroom. The wonderfully maintained grounds of the property were a big asset also. We appreciated the BBQs and the uncrowded laundry rooms.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

After a truly enchanting and mesmerizing 6 day stay at 415, we can't help but reminisce all those new memories we created here. We enjoyed the sound of waves day and night, the green sea turtles that pop their head out every now and then, beautiful views of the ocean and nearby islands, well maintained garden, and last but not the least, a gorgeous and wonderfully decorated home with all amenites one could ask for. Truly, we admire all the pains you have taken to decorate your place. Wish we could ask you where you bought them! We cooked on 4 of the 5 nights we were here and enjoyed our dinners by the sunset! Terry and Janice, Like I said in my email, it's not very often that a place is even better than the pictures! This condo is amazing! We feel really lucky to have gotten to stay at such a gorgeous, peaceful, and magical place! The view off the lanai is spectacular. We saw whales jumping around the first 30 seconds we were here! We've enjoyed watching them again today. As we explored the entire island of Maui, it's been so wonderful to come "home" to a clean and relaxing condo. Janice and Terry, Thank you for the lovely accomodations. Your condo here at the Kuleana made our stay on Maui so comfortable. The view from the lanai is forever etched in our souls. We could make a career of staring out at the ocean and sky. To "one up it" we were visited daily by a pair of Java sparrows. They are precious, curious and friendly and we have affectionately named them, "Kule" and "Ana." The culture and beauty of Maui is second to none. The sightseeing and activities are rewarding and endless; snorkeling with turtles- right here at the condo's oceanfront, upcountry to Haleakala, the road to Hana, Iao Valley and Old Lahaina Luau, to name a few.
