Treat yourself to a relaxing vacation at Wintergreen located in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Our home is on a secluded lot with views of the mountains. There are many hiking and nature trails throughout the Wintergreen resort and they are clearly marked and ranked according to difficulty. Access to the famous Appalachian Trail is only a short walk from our home.
Wintergreen Resort is a four-season retreat offering golf, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hiking swimming, spa, horseback riding, fishing, outdoor concerts, arts and craft shows and a children’s adventure park. In the winter shuttle bus service is available for skiers. Wintergreen has two championship golf courses, the 18-hold Devils Knob mountain course and the 27-hole Stony Creek valley course.
Our home is on three levels, each of which has views of the woods and mountains and makes you feel as if you are living up in the trees. The main floor includes a great room with living room and wood-burning fireplace, dining room and completely equipped kitchen with eat-at bar and a deck that wraps around outside. Also on this floor is a twin bedroom with full bath.
The top floor contains a master bedroom with queen bed and full bath with a small private balcony. There is also a large loft on this floor with a small double bed. On the bottom level there is another large living room. There is a wood-burning fireplace, a twin bedroom with connecting bath and a separate bedroom with queen bed. There is also a laundry with washer and dryer on this floor.
There are televisions on each floor with cable TV. The TV on the main floor has both VCR and DVD players. There is a cabinet with children’s videos, books and games. Also provided is a library of movies for the grownups.

Your home provided all of the comfort and conveniences we needed,a fully equipped kitchen, towels,comfortable bedding two fireplaces with plenty of wood and plenty of living/seating space for everyone. We were happy to be set apart from the hustle of the ski slope area but close enough to enjoy all the amenities when we wanted. Very clean home and well kept for a rental property. We definitely will consider visiting again in the near future.

We stayed at Winteregreen resort for the Virginia Tough Mudder and were fortunate to rent a great house from excellent owners!! The owners were very attentive and in constant communication from the time we requested information about the property until after we stayed and returned the keys. I was ALWAYS able to get hold (return calls and emails the same day!) of the owners with any questions. The house was in excellent shape and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was spotless, clean linens, comfortable beds, plenty of room for large family/multiple people (Our group was 6 guys competing in the race). The house is on the far end of the resort (very short drive to spa, ski resort, etc.) and therefore is quiet and secluded. A great house to relax and get away from it all! If I return to Wintergreen I will ABSOLUTELY rent from them again!!!
