Why the Owner Chose Pacific Grove
We bought this house because it has the MOST spectacular views in Pacific Grove!! Our ocean-front beach house, formerly Joan Baez' house, is located between Point Pinos and Lover's Point...absolutely spectacular!! We bought it the same day we saw it. The famous Latitudes Restaurant with TV chef "Tene Shake" is less that 100 yards from our home. Lover's Point Park and Beaches, rental kayaks, rental bicycles/surreys and snack shop are there as well. The Famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is just a short walk North of the house along fabulous ocean-front walks. The Natural History Museum,the Asilomar, the Butterfly Grove, Art Galleries, Boutique Shops, Antique Shops, Haute Dame Upscale Resale shop and a myriad of coffee shops and great restaurants are just a short walk away. If you prefer you can rent a bicyle or surrey and tour the town on wheels. Pacific Grove is a well-kept secret but one you'll want to share with all your friends.
This public golf course has some of the finest ocean-front scenery while you're golfing - and its inexpensive!
Great Food!! Tene Shake, the TV chef, prepares fabulous lunches and dinners with the freshest ingredients. I love his Calamari appetizers.
