Built in 2007 with everything you need to relax and make memories with your family and friends. Peaceful setting on 2 wooded acres; across from 600 acre Spirit Lake. Bring your boat or kayak, the public access is one block away. Private back yard full of pine and birch trees. Relax by the fire pit or play lawn games.
Charming knotty pine living room has a flat screen satellite TV and a Blu-ray/DVD player. Spacious family room has a foosball table and ping pong table. Master bedroom walks out onto a huge deck overlooking the private back yard. Master bathroom has a whirlpool tub and separate shower. Two additional bedrooms have two twin and one double bed each. Two additional bathrooms each have a shower. There are also two double futons and a queen sleeper sofa. 2400 sq feet give you lots of space to relax.
Spirit Lake is awesome for fishing in the summer and snowmobiling/ATVing in the winter. Enjoy nature at it’s finest.
Bring your ATVs or snowmobiles and enjoy the Gandy Dancer Trail just minutes away.
Take a short trip into Frederic, Siren or Grantsburg and enjoy great restaurants, shopping, mini-golf, bowling and a movie theater. Also nearby are wineries, casinos and 9-hole golf courses. Hiking and biking too. There's everything you need for a well-deserved getaway.

We are not unlike many hard-working people. We want to take time to enjoy the fruits of our labor in a private getaway.
Why the Owner Chose Frederic
We looked at many areas and preferred the Siren/Granstburg area for it's short, non-congested drive from the Twin Cities. Relaxation begins much sooner! And the lake across the street is big...but not too big so the water is calm.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The deck overlooking the back yard provides an awesome view of the north woods. It is so peaceful Not another person in sight. But you may see a family of foxes...they are often wandering through the woods. Not to mention many, many birds. Some I have yet to identify.
We also have the cabin set up for crafters! There are huge tables and adjustable chairs. Everything you need to create.

Awesome Summer Retreat!

Our family stayed in July 2009 and had a wonderful time! The property is as stated and was clean and well maintained. The Bath & Body Works soap in the bathrooms was a nice touch. The backyard with the BBQ pit and deck over looking the yard offered a much needed sanctuary. The owner was extremely responsive to all of our needs. Nice coffee shop with WIFI nearby. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect was the use of a boat dock for our jet ski's. We are looking at staying again in the near future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Beautiful cabin. Location was great, scenic drive. Cabin was clean, well furnished, charming. We will definetly be coming back again. Our group got a lot of crafting done, loved the available supplies. The close by town of Siren has a lot to offer.
