A dream beach house, just steps from the ocean and the bay in Davis Park, Fire Island. This is a brand new (built 2007), upscale, contemporary, four bedroom, architect-designed house with beautiful floor to ceiling large windows, skylights, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings.
The house has an open living and dining area with a wood stove, with a minimalist kitchen and butcher block kitchen island. It is spacious and light filled. It is simply furnished and tastefully appointed with mid century modern furnishings. Outside there is a large deck with a great weber bbq and an outdoor shower with a rain shower showerhead.
There are four bedrooms. Two large bedrooms with queen beds and two small bedrooms, one with a twin bed and one with a bunk bed. Organic linens provided. Sleeps 7 comfortably.

Davis Park/Ocean Ridge is a small quiet community surrounded on both sides by national seashore park. There is one store, one bar /restaurant, and one snack shack (don't worry, it serves ice cream). You can walk or take a water taxi to the Pines for more civilization. You can have groceries and fresh fish delivered from the mainland. It is perfect for a laid back vacation.
The house is a gem. We would prefer to share it with a few nice families or groups over this and future summers. We would love to share it with you.

We love Fire Island. It is like a hidden paradise right next to NYC. We began coming out here 10 years ago and when the opportunity arose that we could build a house here we were so excited to make the perfect beach getaway!

We love Fire Island, NY! Although we live right here on Long Island, spending a week on Fire Island with no cars anywhere in site gives the feeling of being far away without having to get on a plane. We had our wedding at the Casino Restaurant and the experience was GREAT! This home is 2007 construction and was perfect for what you should expect for a summer beach house. Davis Park is family oriented and quiet compared to other Fire Island communities. The owner is responsive and keeps most of the basics in the home stocked. Highly Recommended!

This is a perfect summer house -- plenty of beds without feeling on top of each other, beautiful open, airy living room and kitchen, wonderful for entertaining, great light, spacious deck, and outdoor shower. Quiet setting, easy beach and bay access. Gorgeous modern furniture and a well equipped kitchen.

We've rented this house two years in a row and love it. It's beautiful and simple--just like Fire Island! House owners are a pleasure to work with--so friendly and down-to-earth. Beach is a short walk away. We look forward to it every summer!
