We built our beautiful home in McCall because we fell in love with this small resort town with its majestic mountains, tumbling white water, and glassy pools on the Payette River. We can enjoy fishing, skiing, biking, hiking, and many more outdoor sport opportunities. Since we’re not able to enjoy our cabin throughout the year as much as we’d like, we’ve made it available for you to rent. We’d like to share some of our special times, so you can make your own memories when you rent Camas Pines.
Our comfortably furnished cabin has an open floor plan and a wonderful wood burning fireplace which we have enjoyed with family and friends. Early in the morning or late in the evening, it is truly glorious to sit on the deck watching the sun rise or set, anticipating seeing the deer wandering through the trees. Our resident foxes sneak up onto the deck looking for any scraps of food that may have been leftover from the barbecue.
We love to take a short walk to the clubhouse to enjoy its amenities. On summer afternoons we can play in the pool with our family or engage in a more strenuous game of tennis. After a busy day, we relax our tired muscles in the hot tub or sauna, or chill out and spend a cozy outdoor evening around the fire pit, gazing at the hypnotic flicker of its flames.
In winter and early spring, Ponderosa State Park is a favorite place to snowshoe and cross country ski. In summer, we enjoy the hiking and bike trails, guided walks with park naturalists and the evening campfire program. We’ve delighted in the magic of powder days at nearby Brundage Mountain, or gone snowmobiling or ice skating. Younger kids LOVE riding giant inner tubes down the designated “tubing” hill.
No matter what the weather or time of year, our stays in McCall are always relaxing and enjoyable. We relish the long beautiful days of summer, and its fabulous starry nights. It is truly glorious to watch the stunning and ever changing color of autumn leaves. Even when just poking around the little shops in town, eating at the wonderful local restaurants, or hanging out at the cabin, we know you will fall in love with this special place.
