Not often available due to personal use,this is undeniably a "doll house". Owned and decorated by a prominent Chicago Interior Designer, no details have been spared. The small cottage is cozy and charming, and very personally decorated in a French/Shabby Chic style. It is light, white, and very beachy. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a small seating area. The second bedroom has both a twin and bunk beds for flexible sleeping. The bathroom has been fully remodeled with new tub, white beadboard, ped sink and white mosaic tile floor. The kitchen has been completely remodeled as well, with farm sink, white subway tile throughout, butcher block counter tops, window seat, etc.
All decorated in a decidedly East Coast style - clean and white. There is a NY Bluestone patio in the yard which is very private. A 1920's vintage wrought iron dining table, chairs, umbrella and charcoal grill are provided. White wood blinds in every room and gourmet cooking options (Cuisinart and Mixmaster). Central Air. Moreover, it is centrally located...just a short five block walk to downtown South Haven shopping and restaurants and a short five block walk east to South Beach - which, if you know it, is the best white sand Midwest beach this side of the Mason Dixon line.
The pictures do not do this rental justice. A new front porch is currently under construction and will be complete by July 10. What a great venue for enjoying ice tea, cocktails and people watching. You will not be disappointed in this rental.
NOTE: This is a family oriented neighborhood. This is not a party house.
