Spacious, modern and elegant, Almirante 2 is comfortable and superbly equipped. From the grandeur of the polished concrete floors, to the breathtaking views from the terrace, this privately situated multi-level townhome is just steps away from the sandy beach of Ocean Park.

Though Almirante 2 is a remarkably elegant and well-equipped multi-level townhome, its single greatest feature is easily its privileged location. It lies right on the beach at the Ocean Park community; which has retained a charming way of life and architectural design from the beginning of the 20th century. You will awaken to the gentle sounds of the surf as the Atlantic Ocean, and Puerto Rico's finest beach, gently splash against the sand literally a few feet from the terrace.

It has 3 bedrooms. One ample Master Bedroom with great lightning. It contains a Queen Size Bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen Size Bed and a full bathroom just outside on the hallway; and the 3rd bedroom has a 'high riser' bed that can be used as 2 'twin' beds or a 'king' size bed with a private bathroom. If you let us know in advance, we will set it up for you. TV's are set up in 2 of the bedrooms (the ones with 'queen' beds) and a large flat screen plasma tv in the master bedroom and living room.

Hello, My name is Beatriz Martinez. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I have a B.F.A. from Syracuse University in NY and graduated in ‘93. I worked as a Sales Director and General Manager for global Internet companies such as: AOL Latin America, UOL do Brazil (the largest internet provider in Brazil) and StarMedia Networks (the first Latin American Internet Company to go public in the NASDAQ). I've traveled and worked in several Latin American & Caribbean countries such as: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Miami. I finished my M.B.A. at the University of Miami focusing on International Business in 2002. As a result, I decided to start my own business and became an 'entrepreneur'. I obtained my realtor’s license both in Florida and Colorado and later on I also received my Travel Agent certificate.

This property is my family's. We love the area and we knew it would be a great investment.

Our Week In This Rental Can't Be Over Quick Enough

The listing looked so promising. We had been looking forward to this trip for months. Before we even arrived, we knew it was a mistake, when the owner would not return our e-mail or voicemail messages. Of course, we had already paid the full rental amount, so we had no choice but to stay here. We never got the address of the condo after asking many times - we had to try to find it with a cab driver who didn't speak our language. We got no instructions on how to operate gates, air conditioners, TVs, etc. There were a bunch of remote controls in the house and we had to figure it out by trial and error. Since we've been here (5 days), we've tried to contact the owner numerous times, but have gotten no response. It's very unnerving to stay where not many speak our language and we have no one to contact for information or in case of emergency. I can't tell you how disappointed my family and I are about the decision to stay here. It's ruined our entire vacation and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Many of the features in the listing are either misleading or downright untrue: 1. There are not TVs in every bedroom. 2. There is no grill - we bought steaks and chicken to barbecue before we realized there was not a grill to be found. 3. The listing states the rental is just steps from the beach - it doesn't say there's no access to the beach unless you can get over an 8 ft. wall (there's an opening in the wall with two rungs, but anyone who's not in great shape or who's handicapped, absolutely cannot use that as a way to get to the beach). 4. There is black moldy water in the diswasher - it's not usable. 5. There is water coming in under the doors to a balcony that pools and collects insects. 6. There's an infestation of ants in the condo, especially on the third and fourth levels - there's a hole in the wall in one of the bathrooms where the ants are visibly coming in. 7. The electrical wiring and plumbing appear not to have been finished in the top floor bathroom. The electric outlet could be a fire hazard. The shower fixtures are set in a hole cut in the wall. 8. The garage ceiling leaks when it rains. It resulted in white paint dripping and staining our rental car.

After this experience, the owners decided to take a long term corporate rental because they realized that they were not equipped and did not have the time to address the 'vacation rental' business properly. I just came on board to redo the way we do business, maintain the property in top shape and satisfy all of our vacation renters. All and all, it is a great property in prime location and I know that with my 10 years of experience as broker and property manager in luxury destination cities like MIami and Vail; I know I will be able to deliver what this Top Notch property can delivery and will satisfy all clients. This was one of the best parts of our vacation to San Juan. This condo is simply amazing. Centrally located, private access to the beach, great views, and has all the accomdations of a house; This place was perfect for our family. The owners of this property were very accomdating and flexible. We have stayed in a few places (hotel,ESJ towers, etc) and this was by far the best place to stay for the money. I will try to stay here every time I go to San Juan
