THIS CUSTOM BUILT HOME was designed and built by the owner (a well know designer & builder of high end custom homes) for himself, and is a one-of-a-kind, must see getaway retreat that is beautifully and meticulously furnished. Specifically designed with a lower level for guests or extended family while the upper level is for the owner plus one additional guest bedroom and guest bathroom, each level has it's own fireplace.
THE OWNERS RETREAT... The master bedroom features vaulted ceilings, oak floors, large windows, wood burning fireplace, 50” flat panel TV, and beautifully decorated with a plush area rug, super comfortable king size bed, two large closets, a French armoire, two night stands, multi function printer/fax/copier, and a breakfast area for two.
THE MASTER BATHROOM... Custom cherry wood cabinetry, granite counter tops, all glass shower with stone shower seat, 6’ whirlpool tub, heat lamps, and beautiful granite floors & walls.
FOR YOUR SPECIAL GUESTS... The upper level has one additional bedroom for a guest or child and is beautifully decorated, TV, DVD, full closet, tray ceilings, and a queen size bed. Across from the bedroom is a separate full bathroom outfitted with custom sink & make-up vanity, polish lime stone counter top, and an all glass shower.
THE OPEN PLAN LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM AND KITCHEN... wide plank oak floors running throughout. All the custom built cabinetry & millwork was designed for this New England style house. The large kitchen with its 12 ft. high ceilings features a beautifully hand painted turn of the century farm cabinetry equipped with a professional grade gas range and other hi-end appliances.
THE LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM... features 12’ gable ceiling, architectural lighting and over-sized windows that bring in the view the hundreds of pine trees that surround the property. The large dining room farm table seats up to 12 people. The living room has a custom built wall unit featuring a 54” flat panel TV and concealed computer & printer. The house is filled with original classic oil paintings in every room.
THE SCREEND IN PORCH... The dining rooms French doors lead to a large screened-in porch with a dining area and seating for 8. The screened in porch leads to two separate decks, one for sun bathing and the other with a large gas BBQ.
THE LOWER LEVEL IS A COMPLETE RETREAT SUITE FOR YOUR GUEST OR EXTENDED FAMILY... A full size living room featuring a wood burning fireplace and a flat panel TV. The living room sofa opens to a queen size bed for additional quests. A small kitchenette provides your guest their own little place for snacks, coffee and mid-night treats. The two bedrooms provide each guest a super comfortable queen size bed, closet and open views to the beautiful gardens that surround the front of the house.

Fabulous home with lovely furnishings, including everything you could want or need. The house is very well-maintained. Very comfortable beds, wonderful kitchen and lots of space. Beautiful wooded location and very convenient to everything. Just a short drive and you are in the center of all activities including wonderful restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and the house was very clean. We would definitely recommed this property for a short getaway or a longer more relaxing vacation. We will definitely be returning!
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house is amazing. The decor is beautiful and elegant, yet cozy and inviting. The setting is perfect. The amenities are excellent. There is nothing that you will want that isn't already in the house. Couldn't have been more comfortable in a 5 star hotel or my own home. The house was immaculate and extremely well cared for. The house is very close to all of the attractions in the area and very accessible to all of the main roads. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant time was had.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

We (a group of 8 friends) travel annually to various destinations but this was our first VRBO experience. The home was immaculate, outfitted with many, many amenities and we could not have been more satisfied. The owner greeted us upon arrival to familiarize us with the house, which was very helpful. Would tell anyone that this home is not only gorgeous but very livable.

We have rented several homes in the Berkshires before, but by far this was the best place. When we pulled up to the property all of us in the car said WOW at the same time. We rang the door bell and the owner greeted my family and me and gave us the tour of the house and all of the amenities, which blew us away, the photos don’t do it justice. The house was so beautifully decorated and comfortable; everything was new and clean. My wife loved the master bedroom and bath, and I really enjoyed the large professional kitchen. Our kids loved the house with the three large screen TV’s and enjoyed the property so much they didn’t want to go back home. The owners did a great job in providing every creature comfort that one could think of, we felt like we were in a private five star hotel. Nothing less than excellent.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
