If you are looking for a relaxing mountain getaway you have found the place. Enjoy fabulous panoramic views from the wraparound porch. Take a walk around the peaceful neighborhood. Watch the moose and elk that often frequent our yard. In all, have a wonderful vacation in our home away from home.
Built in 1998, this 3,000 square foot home overlooks Shadow Mountain Lake. Three large bedrooms with a king, queen, and two twins are perfectly cozy for your family. The fully equipped kitchen even has spices ready for preparing your favorite meal. Large windows in the great room face the lake and mountains so you can continually enjoy the views. Take in the colorful sunsets and sunrises from the wrap around deck which has a large gas grill, table, chairs, and benches. When you are not enjoying all that Grand Lake has to offer, you may like having two TVs, two DVD players, a VCR, wireless internet (to be added in the summer), a stair stepper, an exercise bike, and even a large desk if you must bring your work with you.
Grand Lake offers an active mountain experience in a quaint, stress-free location far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would love to have you be our guests.

- So much to do…time is your limit. You can rent ATV’s, a snowmobile, or a boat (www.trailridgemarina.com). Ride the go-karts, bumper boats, or take a sleigh ride. Try fly fishing, ice fishing or bowling. Night brings out the stars – enjoy the millions of stars overhead. Skiing and snowboarding can be done at Winter Park (www.winterpark.com) or at Sol Vista (only 20 minutes away). Get a massage in town or visit Hot Sulphur Springs (only 25 minutes away). Grand Lake library is new and provides DVD’s, books and internet connectivity.
