We had a wonderful weekend getaway to Divineland! Fell in love with the home and with Grand Lake- The house is so comfortable and clean and spacious !! Loved playing Nintendo! The house is so big he played hide and seek one night and my husband and daughter never found me! We will be back- we loved the hospitality of this wonderful home!

Tex and his home are both awesome. We've stayed in Grand Lake before, but have never had such a personalized touch by staying in his home. Once you arrive you immediately start to identify with Tex's personality by the way the home was elegantly decorated with a Corn Huskers passion. Everything was in perfect working order, no one bothered us during our stay and we felt completely at home. The views are spectacular and home is spacious with such a warm appeal. Tex also allowed us to have our dog with us which made this very special, but more importantly doable. If you rent from Tex you will not be dissapointed and will soon realize the great pride he takes to make this gorgeous home available. We will book again with Tex...you should too!

Wonderful home away from home!

We were very pleased with Divineland. The home is very spacious with a great open floor plan. My husband and son loved the "man-cave" as they called it! The home is well stocked with pretty much anything you could need. I was surprised to find that they even have toys available for the kids to play with. My son loved the ninetendo games and my baby loved the adorable baby activity center they had! Really, we can't say enough about how great of a job they have done in providing everything to make the stay pleasant. We actually brought our highchair only to discover one was already in the house! The home is pet friendly so it was wonderful being able to bring our little dogs with us. The view of the lake is very pretty; it was so nice being able to see so much of it from the big windows and glass doors. The only negative was the view of the ugly motel located in front; made it harder to get good pictures without it in the background. However, this does not change our rating of the home and would not prevent me from renting it again. The home is great and reasonably priced for the size.

Wonderful Vacation Destination!

This was our first experience with a vacation rental and it was all we hoped for and more. We spent 11 wonderful nights here. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the beautiful golden aspen and the MANY elk and moose in RMNP. We were in a great location to enjoy things not only in RMNP, but also in Grand Lake (many wonderful places to eat) and locations to the south in the Arapaho National Forest. Monarch Lake at the tip of Lake Granby is a beautiful place to hike and spend some time. When we came back to the house at the end of a busy day, we soon felt that we were coming "home". This house has it all - a wonderful view, great location and everything you could possibly want to make you feel at home. Everything was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The decorating is attractive and fun - especially the downstairs family room (GBR)! The beds are comfortable, the appliances are top of the line and the deck is huge and a wonderful place for enjoying the view and relaxing with a good book. We look forward to returning here again and enjoying another season in this beautiful area of Colorado.

Great View

We enjoyed are stay at this lovely home in Grand Lake. The home is clean and open with a wonderful view. It is a close drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park and great hiking. We enjoyed watching the Elk and even a Moose in the National Park. Also it is a close drive to the lovely town of Grand Lake with good restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is well maintained and very comfortable. The view of the lake and mountain range from the living room is fabulous. Tex was very helpful and we had everything we needed for a relaxing Labor Day weekend. We hope to visit again and stay!

Grand Lake Adventures

The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We selpt wonderfully there. We enjoyed hiking through your neighborhood every morning. Grand Lake activities were abundant and I think we did them all because the house was in a great location to golf, kayaking and hiking. I think if I were you, I would get a neighborhood petition going to have the burnt out motel below, which is in your view of the lake and mountains, cleaned up. You have a beautiful view and deck but that burnt out hotel is a real eyesore to the mountain and particularily your view! Your home was fully stocked with anything anyone would need. It would be a great stay for a family or multiple couples. We throughly enjoyed Grand Lake! Especially got a thrill from the bear that played with the trash can next door at 1 a.m. and the moose that walked on your street! We went home with fun stories.

Owner response:The hotel burnt down earlier this summer and the insurance company has slowed the cleanup process as they investigate the payout to the owner. The Grand County Sheriff has indicated there isn't anything that can be done until the insurance company is satisfied. I'm glad the home was comfortable, clean and stocked well. Considering the hotel is not within our control, I'm a little saddened we weren't given a higher rating based on the comments regarding our home.

Beautiful sunrise and sunset

We had a grand time in Grand Lake. Your house was extremely comfortable. The sunrise and sunset from the deck were beautiful. Breakfast and dinner on the deck was perfect. We saw all the wildlife that we had hoped, even in your back yard. Grand Lake was full of free family events which made for several great evenings out. Thank you

Great place for families with small children

The house was so comfortable and spacious! We've got two small kids, ages 3 and 1, and it was no problem letting them run around. There were toys already there, as well as a nice collection of movies. The back porch was an excellent hang out place. We were there over the 4th of July weekend, and were able to watch the fireworks from the back porch, which was great...didn't need to fight the crowds. There are some great ATV/horse/hiking trails nearby. The town of Grand Lake is cute, and there's lots of shops (albeit touristy ones) and restaurants. Overall, this was a great cabin, great location, and we had a wonderful vacation!

The house was great. It was very well maintained and clean. It was child friendly but still very nice and comfortable. It had everything that we needed/wanted! The listing photos accurately reflected the home, however there are neighbors close which is difficult to tell from the pictures. We went up with our family and it was a wonderful weekend get away. We would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Grand Lake and the surrounding areas.

A wonderful vacation retreat

Our family loved our few days here. We each found our favorite spot, and there was plenty of room to spread out or to be together. Watching the stars and looking for meteors from the deck at night was wonderful...seeing a moose in the yard while doing so was a bonus! Our teens enjoyed playing video games from their childhood downstairs, while my husband and I read our books upstairs. It was a perfect house for us, and was so beautifully maintained. Thank you for sharing it with us. We'll be back!

Our stay at Divineland in Grand Lake was everything we expected and more. The panoramic view from the deck, kitchen, dining area and living area of Shadow Mtn. Lake and the mountains was spectacular and the pictures we took, while beautiful, really couldn't capture all of the beauty. The accomodations were spacious, very comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Although, I would have been perfectly happy just hanging out on the deck all day, the proximity to Grand Lake Village, Grand Lake, the Colorado River and Rocky Mtn. National Park allowed us to take advantage of all of the many different activities available in that area. We hiked, kayaked, fished, took in the sights, shopped, ate at the house and in good restaurants. The house was very well supplied and had everything we needed. We viewed beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the mtns. and lake. It was very relaxing and a wonderful way to spend quality time with our son and his wife. We would definitely like to stay at Divineland again. We really couldn't have asked for more. The only thing we would do differently is stay longer! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home in the mtns. with our family.

Great place for a vacation

This home is so comfortable you will feel like you're visiting friends and they happen to be gone. The beds are comfy, everything is spotless, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the deck is wonderful! The views of the lake and mountains are beautiful. The home is close to Grand Lake which has a lot of cute shops, a good crepe restaurant as well as places to hike. Rocky Mountain National Park is very close; very easy to do day trips there. We saw moose, deer, squirrels and marmots. Loved the rain in the afternoon and even had some great hail (we're from the desert so that was very exciting for us). You will enjoy renting this home and the owners are very gracious.

July 4 holiday

We stayed here July 4th weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was lovely with plenty of room for 6 adults. Great kitchen, nice flat screen TV's and comfortable seating. Beds were great. We sat on the deck to watch fireworks! I'd come here again
