The house was in a great location, but the owner needs new cleaning people, since it's evident they are not doing ANYTHING! Also couches need to be replaced in living room, they were excessively worn. On a better note, house was roomy, bright, bedrooms were beautiful and location, location, location.. The realtor handling the transaction was professional and a pleasure to deal with, if they corrected these two negative issues I would definitely stay again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for the input! There are NEW couches coming in for 2013 and as for the cleaning duly noted although everyone has their own opinions of "clean". Cleaners will ALWAYS be sent back if need be!

After months of anticipation, my group and I arrived at the property. The house was gorgeous and everyone was enamored; however, after a couple of hours it became apparent that we overpaid for location. Let me preface this by saying that the decor and location are fantastic but, when paying TOP dollar, this house fell VERY short of expectations. Here are some issues we encountered: - For what I paid for the week, I EXPECT Beach passes. This house does NOT have them. When I asked Ward Realty, I was told that the owner of the property REFUSES to buy them for his tenants. Keep in mind, season beach Badges cost $50/yr. - The kitchen was absolutely gorgeous; however, it was almost completely empty. 1 bowl in the whole house; 1 sharp knife; 1 pot suitable for boiling water...I understand that rental houses don't come with top of the line kitchen accessories but I expect to be able to cook a meal without having to go out to buy foil pans...which I did 3 times. Fully stocked? Not quite. - The grill is a piece of junk. PERIOD. When a soft breeze blows, the flame goes out. When it's windy, don't bother trying to light it. It is old, out-dated and non-functional. - This turned out to be a non-issue with me b/c there weren't any children in our group; however, there are 5 TVs in the place (all new flatscreens which is nice) but not a DVD player to be found. If you're going with kids and plan on bringing DVDs for them to watch at night, bring the player too. Looks are certainly deceiving. In this instance, it is not for the better. You pay for 1 thing in this house...location.Owner response: Thanks for the feedback although this is overly harsh. We pride ourselves on our availability 7 DAYS A WEEK and I wish you contacted me or another agent in my office that would have happily assisted you. On a positive note it looks like the very popular last week of July will definitely be available in 2013! As always any issues (real ones) will be handled immediately... as long as we are notified that is!

The house is truly beautiful and well-situated midway between the boardwalk and the inlet. The kitchen is amazing with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. House feels very spacious and is extremely quiet inside. We had only a few minor complaints. For the amount charge per week to rent this property, it seems like beach badges should be included. The central vacuum system didn't work and it was difficult without a vacuum cleaner to keep the floors clean of sand. Also, the downstairs bathroom smelled of mildew. We tried several times to clean it, but the smell returned. Otherwise, it is a great house -- and we would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house was on the boardwalk facing the ocean with easy beach access and garage parking. The house was clean,modern, had wi fi, and was light and airy. There was more than enough room for two children and two grandchildren and we could walk to the boardwalk. Ideal location. Ward Realty was wonderfully helpful. Very modern TVs and entertainment systems. Tremendous value.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
