We had been in Patagonia for a week when we moved into Patagonia Oaks. We woke up the next morning with a Broad-billed Hummingbird feeding outside our bedroom window. He was followed by finches, grosbeaks, woodpeckers and warblers. The house was great. It was fully furnished, including hummingbird and other bird feeders. It was very convenient for the best birding in the area, minutes from the town of Patagonia, the famous roadside rest area, Patagonia Lake State Park and the Nature Conservancy’s Patagonia Sonoita Creek Preserve. The house was very comfortable, with huge screened porches and cool all day without the air conditioner. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed plenty of peace and quiet. It is as described and definitely a wonderful place to stay.
