We had a wonderful time at Vine Roost

I celebrated my 50th birthday with my husband and 8 other family and friends at Vine Roost. The place was perfect for our group. A private place to sleep for all 10 of us, an ample kitchen, great private outdoor space, even in the rain. The pigs, chickens and bunnies were such fun to be around. The setting is private and rustic and the house mid century authentic. There is just one full bath, but somehow, even with 10 of us, we made it work. Holly created a wonderful vineyard dinner for all of us for my birthday and we are all still talking about what amazing food she prepared. The setting was lovely, the food and wine amazing. It was a real treat that I will remember forever. Cant wait to go back for more wine tasting in the area and laid back relaxing at Vine Roost!

If you are looking for a quiet, real wine country place to stay, this is you spot. Holly and Matt are great hosts, and the house is everything that is advertised. The house is clean and has everything that you would need if you enjoy cooking up the great local items. The only time we ate out was at the new restaurant Recipe. DON'T MISS IT! And make sure that you ask Matt to take you on a tour of their winery to see what a smaller winery goes thru to make great wine. When we return to the area, this will be our first choice in places to stay. Thanks Holly and Matt.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Oregon wine country. It is a little off the beaten track but worth the lovely drive. Consequently it is very quite and private. There are some farm animals (goats and chickens) in the barn close to the house, which I think added to the charm. They are well cared for and their pens clean. The roosters did start crowing at first of light but they are far enough away it isn't a problem. The house is a solid built 50's house with fun and whimsical decorations. The kitchen is laid out nicely and the dinning room table large and accommodated many a rousing game of cards.The back deck is a wonderful place to hang out on and BBQ. We had a terrific time here and highly recommend Vineroost for your stay in Oregon Wine country.

I had a delightful time at this lovely site. The home is so roomy and nicely decorated. I was amazed at all the little extras provided for a comfortable stay. The grounds are lovely, even in the rain. I'm coming back!
