    This cabin was absoulutely breathtaking. It sits up on a hill and when you round the corner it looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The owner put much time into the decor of this space. This home was rented as a romantic getaway for 4 couples. All amenities described were available and even more than I expected. I would definately consider staying here again.

    The cabin was above and beyond what I expected. It was decorated for the holidays which was a lovely surprise. The kitchen is perfect to cook in for a lot of people. Plenty of space for the 14 people we had staying there. I would highly recommend it and would stay there again in a heart beat.

    Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home at Lake Lure. The home, the Rumbling Bald Resort, the lake, and the memories created are amazing. Waking each morning and enjoying coffee on the deck with a view of the mountain and deer in the woods was wonderful. The property was expansive and the location was exceptional. We enjoyed the amenities of the Rumbling Bald resort and equally enjoyed relaxing in this wonderful home. With the pool table, game table, TVs, and hot tub, there was plenty to do simply staying "at home". Although we were sad to leave, we will surely return! Thank you Stuart for being so accomodating. This was the perfect Father's Day getaway for our family!

    Our stay in your beautiful home was great! All of us loved our visit to Lake Lure and Chiminey Rock. The leaves were at their peak. Hopefully we can one day return.

    Lake Lure has become one of our favorite mountain vacation spots and Pinnacle Peaks Lodge has been a fantastic place to gather, relax and enjoy quality family time. The floor plan of this house allowed for lots of fun to be had by kids and adults alike. The kids enjoyed bunking together in the comfy bunk beds. The adults enjoyed some fun games of pool and alot of lounging around. Plenty of space for 9 of us to spread out and nap, enjoy the view from the deck. This was a great house.

    We came to this house because we had a family wedding in Lake Lure. Our family had much fun and the trout stream pool. My dad and brother enjoyed the golf course and we had fun at Chiminey Rock. My favorite part was riding the zipline at canopy ridge. I hope you enjoy the house as much as we did

    There were 8 adults and 9 kids. We loved your spacious home with all the amenities. The owners obviously love to cook. We ate, drank, and played like kings and queens. Some of the fun activities we enjoyed: kayaking on the lake, the pool, sp, golf and our trip to Asheville

    Our group of eleven (brothers, brothers-in-law, collected sons) stayed at Pinnacle Peaks in July. The property was very well maintained, in great condition, and very accurately described online. (An additional half-bathroom would have been welcome.) The property is beautiful, well appointed, and very very comfortable for a group. In preparing for the trip, I emailed the owner with several questions and got prompt, helpful answers. The managers of the resort (who handled check in) also were very helpful in giving us info on basics like directions to grocery stores and restaurants. The house is in the Rumbling Bald resort - this provided lots of options for stuff to do. The Lake Lure area itself offers many many outdoor activities, and good proximity to Asheville (about 45 mins away). The one caveat is that all of this - including the activities at Rumbling Bald - require a car. While the lake is only 3/4 mile from the house, the part of the resort we were in didn't lend itself to walking. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and would definitely consider returning.

    Eleven of us stayed at Pinnacle Peaks in mid September, and we had a really great trip. The home was as good as, if not better what we were expecting from the photos and description. It was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Those who liked to walk, had plenty of great walks, those who liked to go down by the lake, enjoyed that! We loved the decks, and spent much of our time hanging out there. We look forward to going back for another visit, which is the highest recommendation we can give!

    Our family vaction was wonderful, everyone had a great time. The kids had enough to keep thim busy the house had plenty of rooms the property was clean I would recommend this property to a friend. we enojoyed the visits to the lake almost everyday and chimney rock.

    Our group had a wonderful time in this stunning home at Lake Lure! The location is very private and the house has all the amenities anyone would want or need. We will definitely come back!

    Our family spent ten wonderful days at this location in July 2009. There were thirteen of us including grandparents, parents, teenagers and a trio of kindergardeners. The house easily accomodated us all. The pictures were accurate and we were more than pleased with our choice. We found lots to do for all ages at the resort, and enjoyed our time on the lake in rented pontoons for sight seeing as well as a stint for the waterskiers. The parents particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the teens became pool sharks. The grandparents enjoyed the serenity of just sitting on the porches and relaxing with a book. We saw deer and wild turkeys just outside in the back. We used the BBQ and the kitchen and dining areas were very conducive to "eating in" --or out. There were a variety of swimming venues and the little ones loved the "lazy river". We would definitely repeat this vacation and would certainly recommend it to others. The accomodations were first rate- spacious and comfortable..
