Welcome to Crackerbox, a waterfront home located on the north side of Ono Island, an exclusive gated community located in Orange Beach, Alabama. Crackerbox provides 3 levels of living space and will comfortably accommodate up to 14 people.
Bedding consists of 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 double beds, 4 bunk beds and 1 queen sofa sleeper. All furnishings are top quality and were selected by an interior decorator. Interior amenities consist of 7 flat screen TVs, 7 DVD players (2 are Blue Ray), 2 stereo systems, 2 ice makers, wine cooler, stainless GE Monogram appliances, 2 sets of front-loading washer / dryers, wireless internet, and elevator(may be locked off upon request).
Outdoor living space and amenities consist of a ground level covered deck, main level screened porch and sun deck, top level covered porch with access from 3 bedrooms, built-in gas grill, sound system, boardwalk to private sandy beach and a 40' x 40' boat house with a 12' wet bar for entertaining. The direct bay front location and sandy beach are perfect for swimming and enjoying sunsets. One covered boat slip (10' x 30') and mooring pilings are provided for guests of Crackerbox. Also, guests may enjoy the use of 2 kayaks (single person) while visting Crackerbox.

For a group of up to 11 girls finding the perfect house can be challenging; we have found a gem in Crackerbox. This is our second year to stay on Ono Island and we couldn't have been happier. The open, beautifully decorated main living area serves all our together time needs. You can't believe how wonderful it is to sit down at the large round table to share meals and know we are all going to fit, it is one of the hardest things to find when we are looking for a house, we love it! And the abundance of bedrooms provides private time for when you just want to relax and be away from the group. All of the bedrooms have a tranquil relaxing feel, as well as being large and open. Although we miss direct access to the beach on the gulf side, having the bay right at the end of our private pier with our own private beach certainly has it advantages. Did I mention all the wonderful decks the house has where you can sit and relax and just look at the the amazing view? It is just a fabulous place to have a getaway with all the amenities for making your vacation spectacular.

We intend to return to The Crackerbox! Our family has been gathering in the Gulf Shores region for 30yrs. As we have grown, by age and by number, it became a greater challenge to accomodate everyone's recreational interests and still provide for "family time", yet attempt some level of privacy (in-laws). The Crackerbox can do it all! We had a bed for everyone, behind closed doors! We had a large gathering space on the main floor, indoors and outdoors. Each floor had a wonderful outdoor deck so each generation had a space, all were thrilled. The family matriarch, approaching her 93rd birthday, truly enjoyed being able to use the elevator, safer and less taxing on her.The entire crowd gathered at the beach everyday, some sunning, some swimming, some fishing . . . . our unanimous return vote is YES!

We had an outstanding weekend. Crackerbox was just as describe only better. The wharf was perfect for my boat and we enjoyed the water so much we probably missed out on hanging at the house. Jeff, your help was very much appreciated. I would absolutley recommend this property to anyone and hope to revisit soon. Went to dinner by boat to Cobalt. Also hit Tacky Jack's, Florabama, Pirate's Cove, Lulu's, Sunset Grill. By car Cosmo's and Oyster Bar. Great weeked for 8 great friends.
