BEACH HOUSE MONTHLY, WEEKLY & LONG WEEKEND RENTAL- Seaview, Fire Island, New York. A very special retreat awaits you; a place for friends and family who value time together, but who also desire space to enjoy private time apart.
We offer a monthly or weekly rental contract for 2010.
Our home is an air conditioned, 2,000 square foot, two floor contemporary with four large bedrooms, two and one-half baths, ceiling fans, outdoor private shower, screened porch, 1,000 square foot roof deck with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Great South Bay, 3 additional decks, DSL high speed wireless internet, a new blue stone patio and all just 300 steps from the Atlantic Ocean and its wide sandy beaches.
Amenities abound in this fully furnished light filled home features a large living room, fireplace, dining room (seats 12 guests), modern eat-in kitchen, laundry room, central vacuum system, dumb waiter and spiral staircases. For your entertainment there is satellite TV, 47 inch flat screen tv, wireless internet, BBQ, stereo, DVD, board games, bicycle rental and of course the beach!
Our home is located on Crescent Walk, a quiet family street just five minutes to the shops, restaurants and night life of Ocean Beach, and a one minute walk to the ferry, ocean and bay. The grounds are private, completely fenced and on a block free from group homes and inhabited all summer long by resident families.The renter of our home has full rights to access the Seaview Association Bay Beach, play ground, gazebo and children’s pool.
The house is available for families and adults who will respect our home, neighbors and the community, and who would like to enjoy the beauty, nature, entertainment and surroundings of the Fire Island National Seashore.
Weekly maid service has been arranged. We welcome your bringing along a well behaved family dog to share in your vacation adventure and memories.
*Term Rate does not include utility costs and a one-time cleaning fee of $150.00. Security deposit will be refunded within 30 days of the end of the tenancy.
In addition to the main house there is a studio cottage on the property that is used by the owner, but may be available for rental. Contact owner with additional inquiries as to the use of the cottage.
Rental Term commences at 4:00 p.m. on the first day of tenancy and ends at 10:00 a.m. on the last day of rental. Weekly rental is based upon 6 nights and 7 days.

- Pet Friendly: We have 3 golden retrievers and would not think of going away without them. Please do bring your best friend with you so long as they are well behaved & house broken and you will assume responsibility for there conduct. The property is completely fenced.
- Kid Friendly: The house is perfect for families and the community is a family community. No group homes and we insist on respecting our neighbors by only renting to responsible adult renters.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Responsible adults and families only.
- Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking will be permitted in the house or on the property. The Fire Island National Seashore is always concened about the possibility of forest fires and therefore no open flames or sources of accidental ignition are permitted in our home or property.

The beach is important to us. We spend alot of time as a family on Fire Island and our home is the perfect base of operation as its just 300 steps to the Atlantic Ocean and a five minute walk to town. Wile summers are wonderful and we live there all summer long, our favorite time is spring and fall. We love to share our home with family and friends, and it makes us so happy when we know the house is being used all of the time. Dinner for 12 to 15 is a common event on the weekends. Our house was built in the 1970's and is an upside down contemporary, with three bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room on the first floor and the master bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, living room and dining room on the second floor. Decks surround the house. The breeze through the house in the summer negates the need for air conditioning, but given that we have three golden retrievers we are prepared and the house is air conditioned. The roof deck is amazing! 1000 square feet of 360 degree views of the island and the ocean. The property is fenced so its not uncommon for us to leave the doors open for the dogs to wander in and out. Our kids are headed to college this fall so we have decided to rent our home for the summer as we are going to be busy getting ready for the big send off. We would love for a family or mature adults to take our place this summer at the beach and develop memories of there own with our home and the beach being the backdrop.

Fire Island is a protected national park just 50 minutes from Westchester and 1 hour from Manhattan. Its close to home to say the least. The beaches are not crowded and absolutely pristine. There are no cars and deer run free throughout the area. This is a little slice of heaven that is a well kept secret. No cowds, close to home, peace and quiet!
