  • Lovely home! Lovingly furnished and staged for guests. We did not rent a car but were able to get around fine on the MUNI system which comes right by the front door. The house book gave us good ideas of cafes close by and the Academy of Science/Golden Gate Park is only 10 min bus ride west. Safe, quiet neighborhood and the tall windows in the home made our one rainy day its own delight! We will be back and recommend to our friends. Thanks again...

  • A wonderful experience! We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, bright, well located flat. The owners, Peggy and Oz, were gracious and helpful. They are close by to answer any questions or solve any problem that may arise. We would say much more, but then this jewel may not be available on our next trip to San Francisco.

  • My wife and I are thrilled we found this apartment. Like previous guests, we were impressed to find a bottle of California wine (of course LOL) waiting for us on the bar. The pictures do not give you a correct impression of the size of this place...HUGE. We walked downhill a tiny distance to the bus to town, movies, shopping etc. We also were only a very short walk to Alamo Park, where we saw the famous "painted ladies". There are grocery stores, pizza shops (Little Star Pizza is a local award winner and our favorite). This house is actually decorated as if you lived there...no short shrift for the "renter" everything is first rate, right down to all the current topical books. However the most impressive thing is the care you receive from the owner! They made sure they left contact info and were available for any contingency.....actually the feeling is of a first class hotel (actually the place is larger than a suite at the Bellagio OR Venetian LOL)with MUCH shorter walking to sights or transit. We saw everything possible to see in San Fran. and never felt outside of the "action". The next trip back, we are surely booking this house

  • Upon arrival and looking at the old beautiful Victorian, we knew we had picked the perfect place to stay. Walking inside the flat we were surprised by how big it was and the 12'-0" tall ceilings. The interior is clean and modern but still retains its old victorian architecture. Everything we needed was here, right down to the different spices in the cupbord for cooking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the huge bathroom has lots of wonderful light from the skylight. The feel is that of a high end hotel, but with a lot more space and amenities. Our dog loved Alamo Park and its off leash dog area. We loved being able to walk to Haight, Hays, Japantown, Museums, grocery stores, etc. Best of all the free parking spot made coming and going a breeze. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again next time we are in San Francisco.

  • This is outstanding accommodation. Really roomy and very tastefully furnished. It was wonderful to receive a bottle of wine on arrival. There were lovely touches such as beer in the fridge, snacks in the cupboard and a digital photo frame showing a slideshow of San francisco scenes. The area is beautiful and peaceful with easy access to the amazing Golden Gate Park and all its facilities. it was easy to get a bus from the apartment to downtown San Francisco. The owners are lovely and helpful. It was the icing on the cake of a perfect holiday!
