Bears Den is located less then a mile from historic downtown Black Mountain in the Village of Cheshire. The tree house has two bedrooms with queen beds, a TV entertainment room with a futon that will sleep two, the kitchen/den area has a queen sleeper and the fourth floor cozy "get away room" has a twin sleeper. There is a wrap around deck that provides scenic mountain views.
You are within walking distance to restaurants and Cheshire Fitness Center and Racquet Club. The Racquet Club has six clay courts and two indoor hard courts for year around enjoyment. For the outdoor enthusiast you will be just a few minutes away from golf courses, white-water rafting, waterfalls, and numerous hiking trails.
Black Mountain is surrounded by mountains such as High Windy/the Seven Sisters and other gorgeous views. Within the city of Black Mountain there are art and craft galleries, specialty and antique shops, bookstores, museums and wonderful restaurants.
Just blocks from downtown is Lake Tomahawk with walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts and a swimming pool. You are also just minutes away from Asheville and the magnificent Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and a variety of cultural and musical attractions.
We are conveniently located approximately 4 hours from Atlanta, GA and 2 hours from Charlotte, NC.
