Can Sorra is a beautiful Catalan Mas, with magnificent mountain views, located in the charming Vallée du Riu Ferrer, just 10 minutes from Arles sur Tech. The house has been recently renovated to the highest standards retaining all its idyllic charm but offering completely contemporary levels of comfort.
The gated and secure pool area has its own shaded dining and barbecue area with very comfortable seating and a big dining table. There are several pool loungers for sunbathing and umbrellas for shade.Pool is heated during mid and high seasons only. It is in a very secluded position, situated above a lovely mountain river (with fenced access), surrounded by fields and forest, with an extensive sunny balcony for dining or relaxing running along the front of the houses allowing you to enjoy the calming views across the valley.
Activities
From the cultural market town of Ceret (with its Musee D'art Moderne paying homage to Picasso and other great artists who have lived in the area) to Prats de Mollo with its hilltop Fort Lagarde the local towns and villages are beautifu and full of activities.
Can Sorra sits between the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees right next to the Spanish border. Walking, Mediterranean beaches, trout fishing, skiing, canyoning, biking, horse riding, thermal baths, gorges, wild water rafting, Spain and ancient hilltop villages are all readily accessible from Can Sorra.

An enchanted holiday As being the previous owners, we were amazed (again) at how well the property is being maintained (house and grounds around it). Arriving at Can Sorra, the reception was very welcoming. During our stay our privacy was respected (it seemed we were the only people on the mountain); but whenever we needed something, nothing was too much to ask. As always we enjoyed Can Sorra for being that enchanted, quiet and peaceful place that you just don't want to leave again. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to come back soon! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
