Short bike ride to Sagg Main Beach. On over two beautiful acres, down a long driveway in a central location is a special summer headquarters. The country style federal shingled home has three bedrooms and an inviting wrap-around porch. A master suite with a king bed and Sony flat screen TV, sitting room and private bath. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and an additional bathroom. All bedrooms have California Closets. The beds were purchased in 2009. The floors are all wide planked oak and tile in the kitchen. No carpet anywhere!
The home also boasts a contemporary chef's kitchen with Viking stove, two zone air conditioners for the main house, a heated pool, pool house with a bathroom and sleeping loft, and spacious barn with a separate living quarters with a Queen Bed, window A/C unit and washer/dryer. This three level retreat also has an excercise loft with a Precor machine and spinning bike overlooking a widow's peak balcony, perfect for sunset cocktails or late night star gazing! The basement has an Electrolux Washer & Dryer set.
The first floor has a dedicated dining area, living area with Sony flat screen TV, and den plus two bathrooms. The ceilings are 10 feet high for a feeling of space and comfort. This home is owned by a writer and artist. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. The decor is beautiful. The house is down the street from a beautiful horse farm/sculpture garden. Very close to Wolffer Vineyard and Horse Farm north of Highway 27. Only a few minutes from the towns Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Sag Harbor. The perfect central location just three miles from Ocean Beaches. It is near the train, for a quaint country feeling. The barn contains bikes, beach chairs and boogie boards for you. My family and I recently had the great fortune of enjoying a week at this incredible beach home. In the process of a vast search for a near-perfect place to stay before and after the celebration of my daughter's wedding, we found a true paradise! This home has everything - - and while the photos and descriptions of amenities are accurate, we were even more amazed by the realities of just how well the owners provide absolutely everything we could possibly need. As for the owners, they are totally involved in maintaining contact, and while we did encounter a minor problem, they had it fixed by the end of the day . . . and that was from their home in California! In the end, we could not have found better accomodations at a resort - - so clean, extremely well maintained and the ultimate in comfort! Our group included 5 adults, 3 college students and 1 high-schooler, but with all of the space indoors and out, we were more than comfortable . . . we felt pampered! Highly Recommended!
