The property has large decks patios, sun room, swimming pool and an outdoor shower. The gourmet kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
It's easy to kick back, listen to birds and enjoy the unique and beautiful landscape of "Kismet" which has it's own nature trail at the end of the park-like compound.
For dining you'll find some of the finest restaurants both downtown and in the many towns just minutes away. Visit Slice of Heaven for breakfast and Sympatico Tratoria's for outside dining and live music.
Jamestown is an island just 9 miles long and 1 mile wide. Hundreds of acres of protected space and working farms yield a serene quality and soothing views of land, sky, and sea. The town center, just 4 miles to the south, features lovely shops, pleasant strolls, a superb marina, and terrific restaurants."
Local sand and pebble beaches are a few minutes away.
One wing of the house can also be rented for $400 per night when available. Includes 2 bedrooms, living room/TV room, washer dryer, full bath and use of kitchen for breakfast.

Owner Description
Carol and Mark moved to Jamestown from Connecticut 7 years ago because they fell in love with the area while visiting on vacation. Both are entrepeneurs; Carol has owned and operated her own portrait studio for many years in Ct. and now creates digital art PHOTOGRAPHY of local spots. She still loves to photograph animals and children. Mark swopped his design/build business in order to fulfill his desire and passion for cutting edge technologies by inventing and developing a new design for charging stations for the electric vehicle.
Why the Owner Chose Jamestown
This is a unique destination with very picturesque views wherever you travel on the island. The traffic is minimal with only one traffic light on the whole island. You will find lots of wide open space, waterways, farm lands and visitas of the Bay and ocean, whether you're downtown, at the lighthouse, the beach, the forts/parks or the historic windmill.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This property and home is much like a mini resort. Whether you like to sit quietly and watch the fish, listen to the birds, of which there are many species, swim, walk around the ponds in back or tour the island. Completely private and tranquil. A week is hardly enough!!!!

"Absolutely beautiful place to vacation" Kismet is a well maintained and beautifully decorated property that is a very private and relaxing place to be. The owners are very dedicated to their home, and making sure everything meets your needs. The pool and deck areas are all great places to hang out for the day. The house is only a short drive to Newport. We would highly recommend this property.

"Our own family resort" Carol and Mark were very gracious and helpful. The home is just lovely with plenty of space for different age family members! The grounds are beautiful with the pool and many decks. I have to say the pool with young children was just wonderful. We felt like we were at our own private resort. There is sightseeing and many fine restaurants if you can pull yourself away. The surround sound thoughout was a big hit with the men! Just a great vacation and would like to go back again! We very much enjoyed our stay at Kismet. The house is very spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. The pool area, the deck, and all the outdoor space overall is just beautiful. The outdoor shower next to the pool worked great with the children. The 2 washers and driers made life easier for us. The owners of the house were fantastic and really made sure we enjoyed our stay there. The area is very peaceful and within a short driving distance from all the Newport attractions. We are very particular in a lot of things and there was no one thing we disliked. I was very sad when it was time for us to leave.
