A Touch of Heaven.

May I tell you that we were totally satisfied with the accommodation. We found that it was furnished and decorated to a very high standard and the location was delightful. I have never been in a place that was so well equipped, so much so that we played a game of trying to find something that you didn't have. Other than an electric kettle for our endless cups of tea, we failed miserably! We even found toothpicks after having been out for a meal. I have to tell you that we all thought it was great value for money and that goes a long way to making for an enjoyable holiday. Our only disappointment was nothing you can do anything about, but it was with the restaurant a hundred yards up the road from the main gate. We found it over-priced and the food poorly prepared. I only write this for the benefit of others who will be stayng in this community. Many, many thanks from the four of us for a wonderful vacation in your property.

Vista Waikoloa C104

Date of Stay: 10/23/10 Review Submitted: 01/28/11

I have been coming to the Vista Waikoloa for six years and have stayed at the Stewart's unit the last two years for five to six weeks each year. The unit has been beautifully remodeled and decorated as a second home. It is located on the ground floor so it allows the feeling of the patio extending out onto your private lawn and is only a few steps from the pool and spa area. It is well stocked with everything you need and only a short walk to a beautiful beach. I've found the various owners in the Vista to be extremely friendly and include everyone in all the gathering and golf excursions. I would plan on staying in this condo on my next trip to the islands and would highly recommend it to others.

Review of Stewart's Willa, C104 in Waikaloa Vista

Guest: Gene & Kathie (San Antonio, TX, USA)
Date of Stay: 07/13/10 Review Submitted: 07/25/10

My wife & I stayed in the Stewart's villa C104, & had a wonderful, romantic time. The description of this unit above understates just how nice this villa & complex are. The villa is immaculate & equipped with more than enough pots, pans, dishes, utensils, & appliances in the kitchen. The spice rack also included many spices we use, & the laundry included soap & softener. I am not a fan of Kona coffee, but Starbucks at the Queen's Marketplace provided me the ground coffee I prefer. The Stewarts use a service that prepared the unit well clean (no signs of stains from the very hard water), fresh bedding, folded towels, shampoo, conditioner, & lotions (very hotel like). The king-sized bed in the master suite was a very comfortable, firm mattress. I needed access to the internet & had no problem logging in to the WiFi. The DVD/CD player & TV are both Sony brands & worked nicely. The clock in the master bedroom projected the time on the ceiling a nice feature to let us know our bodies were still on Central time. My sister had a unit with the same floor plan as C104, but on the 2nd floor of the A-Building. Finishes throughout both units were nice, & reflected the owner's preferences. The tile floor throughout C104 demonstrated that it was clean; it was hard to tell the cleanliness of my sister's unit as it was all carpeted floors. I also liked the tile in C104 as it kept the unit feeling cool (most days during our stay reached the mid to upper 80's). We liked eating on the lanai in C104 as it seemed more spacious than the my sister's second floor unit. Neither unit could see the ocean, but my sister's unit had a great view of the street & the Hilton parking lot [tic], while C104 had a beautiful view of a very quiet pool setting & peaceful landscape. Some may worry about privacy on the ground floor, but we did not find this an issue as few ever walked past C104. My sister's second floor unit was exposed to the street … Lastly, C104's kitchen has been remodeled & looks fresh compared to the kitchen in my sister's unit. I found the whole Vista complex quiet & peaceful, including the pool area with its sunbathers. If you really are looking to party, the 2 hotels across the street could provide one all the party & luau's one might want. The "A Bay" beach can be reached by walking, but driving to the beach access on the south side of the Marriott is a lot easier. I would choose this unit in this complex again on my next visit to the Big Island a terrific value!

Richard and Denise Sylvestre had the following comment about our condo: "We really enjoyed Vista Waikoloa C104 and the location within the Waikoloa Beach Resort. It was a great place to return to from our daily excursions to the superb snorkeling, swimming, and hiking spots on the Big Island of Hawaii. Having left below zero in Canada, it was so comfortable letting the trade winds blow through the condo at night. We hope to visit Vista Waikoloa again."

Pam Swift had the following comment to make about our condo:"We stayed in Vista Wailoloa C104. I couldn’t have been happier. It was nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus, it’s location was central to both the beach and the two shopping areas in Waikoloa. Highly recommended."

Following is an excerpt from an e-mail we received from guests who stayed in our condo this summer: "Aloha, Helen We had such a wonderful time in your beautiful condo! We used it as our base of operations as we explored the whole island. We rode horseback in the Waipi'o valley, snorkeled in the Wai'opae Ponds, trekked to the green sand beach near South Point and visited Parker Ranch for the rodeo on Fourth of July. When we ran out of energy, we returned to the condo to swim in the pool, or to just hang at A-bay. Unfortunately, the lava had stopped flowing for most of our trip (darn that Pele!) But we still had a great time - and got some great photos - at Volcano Park. We made extensive use of the guidebook and video you left in the condo. Two places we found on our own were Tante's Bar and Grill (in Parker Ranch Center in Waimea) for reasonably priced, good food in a nice Hawaiian Ranch atmosphere; and Kilauea Kreations (which shares a parking lot with the Lava Rock Cafe in the town of Volcano) for Hawaiian-made items including quilts, coasters, mugs, and prints. On a more practical note, we found the condo extremely well equipped. I especially appreciate the Kona coffee you left for us, the large selection of cookware and utensils, and the abundance of bed linen and towels. Having the lockbox for the key was extremely convenient when our group split up for the day - we could all leave and return without the constant worry of getting locked out! Our family has stayed in many different condos in many different parts of the country, and I have to say that yours was the nicest we have visited. We'd all like to thank you for making our stay such a pleasant one!"

Our family of 5 stayed at the Vista Waikoloa, C-104 over Thanksgiving week 2006. We search high and low looking for just the right condo and were not disappointed. The condo is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the location; so convenient to the shops, beaches and other resorts. The Big Island has so much to offer, we didn't even scratch the surface. The owners were very friendly and helpful with our stay. Book this condo...you won't be disappointed. Happy snorkeling...The Gregor Family!

Can I say how great condo C-104 was? For starters, when I walked in, exhausted from my travels, I was brooding over the fact that I was coffee-less, and lo and behold, there on the counter was a bag of my favourite thing: freshly ground Kona Coffee. I took it as a sign. A wave of relaxation washed over me as soon as I walked in. I took a cup of that Kona coffee out to the lanai, the trade winds blew through the palm trees, and I felt more at home than when I'm at home. The condo is close to A-Bay, not an arduous walk away for sunset-viewing. And once the sun set, I'd crash in front of the 59 inch TV. The condo is newly renovated, so it feels fresh and new. The kitchen has state of the art appliances that are a dream to use. Helen is all the things you want in a landlady - she's organized, she's helpful, and you can tell that she's the kind of genuinely nice person who really cares that you have a good stay. I'll say all the usual stuff too: the condo is immaculate, it's conveniently located, the staff are helpful, yadda yadda yadda. But what you really want to know is this: I loved it so much, I've booked it again for next fall, and I'm staying a week longer.

We had a family reunion in Hawaii and we were happy to be staying in this condo compared to the other ones that family members had. With the pool so close to the condo it was the perfect location for us. The condo is also close to the gas grills of which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed eating outside in the mornings on the patio. The owners were wonderful to work with and we would definitely stay in this condo again.
