Located in the desirable coastal Mesa neighborhood, this property is centrally located to all that Santa Barbara has to offer. The Mesa retail area (a 5 minute drive) has all you need for dining, shopping, and gourmet groceries.
Downtown Santa Barbara, with its many attractions, beaches and Harbor, is an easy 5-minute drive away. The beaches: West Beach, Santa Barbara Marina, Ledbetter (walking distance) and Hendry’s are just 5 minutes away. For those who want to venture farther out, there is the wine country and many other worthwhile attractions.
Little Palm Cottage is a Non-smoking, Two-bedroom (Sleeps 4) and one-bathroom, offering all the amenities of a tropical getaway.
Master Bedroom (Queen size bed), Bedroom 2 (Two twin beds), Top quality mattresses with warm blankets and cozy linens, Wood floors with wool rugs, Wireless high-speed Internet service, Digital cable-flat screen TV, DVD, Stereo/CD, Gourmet Kitchen (Fully equipped), Washer/Dryer and Bath Towels. There is a large private backyard with Deck, Barbeque, and Lounge and Teak patio dining, in a tropical setting. Off street parking provided.

I spent the night at a most charming place...Little Palm Cottage...in Santa Barbara. It is a minute away from the Beach and from all of the fun Santa Barbara activity. Located up on a hill, there is a view of the ocean and is also away from the hussle and bussle. I found it to be clean and well-maintained. The owners were so accommodating and helpful. The listing description was most accurate, I have found some that are not, and the house looked just like the photo in the listing. A great place to spend week or a month. Not far from great seafood restaurants on the pier, arts and crafts show on the weekends...bike riding, surfing...you name it and it is just seconds away.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We found Little Palm Cottage to be a delight. It was very clean, and accurately presented in the photos on the web site. Even though the adjacent properties are close by, both the house and the lovely back yard are completely private. It is on a street with virtually no traffic so it is very quiet. The location is ideal if one likes to walk, because it is about one minute to Shoreline Park, and then an easy stroll to the town waterfront which is a happening place! Walking up and down the waterfront is endless fun. We enjoyed the bottle of wine Lesley left and her suggestions of things to see. There are just too many. Incidentally, there is an excellent grocery store about a mile away. We would recommend this cottage without any hesitation. It is a nearly perfect way to see Santa Barbara. We hope to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The home is beautiful, clean and close to many attractions in Santa Barbara. We especially liked the privacy of the backyard. I assumed we would have access to the ocean through the backyard but you need to head out the front door and around the block to see the ocean--that was disappointing. Overall, our stay was great!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: The property is a 2 min. walk to Shoreline Park and the beach, with peeks of the ocean from the backyard.

We had a wonderful time at the Little Palm Cottage. It was perfect for our family. The location was great and we were able to walk almost anywhere. Santa Barbara is a premier vacation spot to visit, with so many things to do and see. The climate is very agreeable all year long, stunning mountain-to-the-sea vistas, farm-to-table cuisine. Santa Barbara is classy, yet laid back. We love to vacation at the beach and be outside, being active, so this was a natural choice. The location of the property is right next to the beach, parks, close to downtown and wineries.
