Great place! Got just what we came for- rest & relaxation. Rained every night- sounded great! Beautiful site- lightning bugs against the mountains- awesome! Only God could create such beauty! We loved sitting on the porch & listening to the stream & the birds. Accomodations were great. We will probably be back next Father's Day! Take care- God bless! :)

We arrived in time to see the show in Maggie Valley. We saw ove 30 elk at Cataloochee, and stood at the top of the world at Max Patch Bald! You have a truly beautiful valley here and the cabin is charming. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time.

This place is paradise! Rafting & 4th of July in Maggie Valley were the highlights for us. We loved the peade, the creek, and being out of the way of it all. We will definately be back next year- hopefully for 2 weeks to enjoy everything. Our dog enjoyed it just as much as we did! Thank you.

We loved it. Stayed 2 weeks instead of one. Restful and in the middle of lots of beauty. Went to the gem mine had a great time.

We loved the peace and quite so much that we stayed an extra week. Very secluded area, but not too far out of the way to go and do anything you want. The elk in the park were a real treat for us, as well as the creek in the back and the birds and the sun rise over the mountains. I can't pick a favorite. Gary and Karen were great. Available if you need them, but not obtrusive. Melody and Larry Robinson

Simply amazing!!! Thank you so much. We could not pick a better place to spend our honeymoon. We loved every single minute of our time at the mill. We just wanted to drop you a few lines to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill House. It was everything we needed for peace and quiet relaxation. It was so good to sit on the screened porch and watch the birds and butterflies and listen to the sound of Fines creek as it rushed down the mountain. Carolyn also enjoyed the hammock. She had really been looking forward to that and spent several hours resting and reading in it. It was the most peaceful vacation we have ever had. It is the only place we have ever been to that we were not ready to leave and come home! We only hope that we may have the opportunity to use it again sometime in the future. Thank you very much.
