The Edge is a luxury villa and guest cottage which can be reserved as a 2 or 3 suite vacation rental. You will be the only guests on the entire estate.

Located just 5 minutes south of Dominical you will find this luxurious Villa and pool complimented by a charming Guest Cottage. The Edge is set on over 12 acres of lushly landscaped grounds, surrounded by jungle.
From the Main Villa you find unobstructed 180 degree panoramic pacific ocean views. The Villa's twelve acres are amidst a protected green zone to the north and south with a dramatic backdrop of first ridge mountains and a combination of primary and secondary rain forest.
Within a short walk from The Edge there is a path where you can reach two private beaches, one with it's own waterfall.
For swimming and boogie boarding or surfing we recommend a two minute drive to Puerto Nuevo, a virtually private beach. Two boogie boards are on the house!
The Main Villa is comprised of a Master Suite, and a Junior Suite, each with their own full bath as well as a futon style bed for two additional guests. There is also a Great Room,half bath,lush Courtyard, pool with multiple decks for sunbathing and wildlife viewing and outdoor shower.
The Guest Cottage is two stories. Only the lower level will be available. There is a one bedroom suite,with a full private tiled bath and a private patio with yet another lovely ocean view. All this less than a stones throw from the main Villa.
The Edge is only a short stroll to the area's most exclusive luxury spa and gourmet restaurant.
The Villa is also very close to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, banking and any other services you may need. There is a doctor, a pharmacist and dentist located right in Dominical, all speak English.
Your stay at The Edge will be a once in a lifetime experience, unless, of course, you return next year!

Why the Owner Chose Dominical
You would not want to leave this southern zone of Costa Rica once you have visited. So, after running the resort for about a year and a half we opted for a change, sold the resort and purchased The Edge, where we have resided for the past 2 years. The Edge Estate is not far from our previous resort, but is superior in many ways including privacy, wildlife, a variety of fruit trees, ocean views and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Our Oceanfront location, including a Main Villa, private pool, Guest Cottage, and multiple viewing/sunning decks is available as a 2, 3 or 4 suite vacation home. We have close proximity to beaches of all types, walking, swimming, surfing, snorkling, kayaking, shell collecting & sunset cocktailing, it is outrageous! You can also walk to a fantastic restaurant and spa to take care of any pampering you may need.
There are numerous restaurants with a wide variety of cusine within moments, Thai, Sushi, Italian, Indonesian, Continental, Traditional Costa Rican and more. You will also be just a short distance from many shops, banks and other services.
Steps leading to a beautiful natural waterfall with a great safe swimming hole, shaded by jungle. A favorite on hot days with locals!
Well known area restaurant on Punta Dominical itself with unbelievable views to the north and the south. Even if you are not hungry for this great continental fare, drive out and see the view!
Every Saturday 8am to 1pm you can find all the local organic produce you can eat as well as meats and cheeses. There is also a great selection of artisans displaying thier wares, great for gifts!
A US style grocery store where you can find just about everything you have at home. There are also MANY smaller grocers in the area worth visiting for local flavor!
One of the most famous tours in the area. Horseback ride to famous warterfalls, includes breakfast and lunch, suitable 6 yo and up. A great deal!
