Breathtaking views abound in this corner 2-bedroom condo. Feel the breeze on your face as you watch the sun rise over the ocean with a front seat view from every window. This is what you think of when you think of going to the Beach - Beach Front.

If you are looking to get away from the noise on the boardwalk to the south and the crowds of the high-rises to the north, look no further, this is the perfect location. Midtown location means that it is close to everything and yet you can escape the crowds when you want.

This unit was purchased in 2009 and major renovations have occurred during the off season. Almost all appliances are new, the unit is freshly painted, new window treatments throughout. All beds have brand new mattresses and box springs. Bedroom furnishings are brand new and so are the flat screen TVs (37" & 26"). Six beach chairs, beach umbrella, and beach toys are provided for use on the beach.

To help ensure that your stay is hassle free, we have contracted with one of the premier property management companies to provide you with 24-hour emergency service as needed if something goes wrong or you find yourself locked out of the unit. You also are guaranteed a clean unit when you arrive (if the unit has not been cleaned to your satisfaction, a cleaning crew will be dispatched immediately to clean the unit to your satisfaction). Key pickup is available 24 x 7 and is right down the street from the unit. A Guest Handbook is given to each guest prior to arrival which describes the check-in process, information about the unit, and how to get help when needed.

We do accept major credit cards, as well as personal checks, in order to give you more payment options.

Outdoor pool, assigned parking, cable and Internet, washer/dryer, and king size bed in the HUGE master bedroom with views of the beach on three walls are just some of the other reasons why this unit is the place to spend your vacation.

No smoking, no pets, and at least one adult 25 years or older must be in the rental party.

    • Elevator: Enclosed elevator lobby requires a code to enter, greatly enhancing the security while waiting for the elevator as well as the hallways in the building (the stairways are keyed). This unit is on the sixth floor.     • Cable/Satellite TV (2) : Digital cable from Comcast comes across vividly on the brand new (2009) 37" LCD TV. The TV is mounted on a cantilever mounting system that allows the TV to be tilted up and down, swivel from side to side, and pulled out from the wall for optimum viewing from any of the common rooms, including the balcony. Cable TV is also installed on a 26" LCD HD TV in the master bedroom which is mounted on a tilt and swivel mount. The TV is connected to a DVD player. *__________________________*

    • Beachfront: As soon as you enter the unit, you are presented with a breathtaking view of the ocean from the wall to wall sliding glass door in the living room. The master bedroom also boasts wall to wall window facing the beach as well as the sliding glass door to the balcony which presents a view of the beach toward the south. As this is a corner unit, both the master bedroom and guestroom have windows that overlook the north side of the beach. *__________________________*

    • There is tons of closet space in each of the bedrooms. In the master bedroom a his and hers walk-in closet has room enough to close the door and change. A separate guest closet located in the main living area is available for you as additional storage space. Six beach chairs, beach mats, and beach umbrellas are available for guests to use. Also in the guest closet are a number of board games. There are lots of books available for reading in the unit. Each guest receives a Guest Handbook that provides information on how to check-in, access the unit and pool, and work with the appliances inside the unit. We have left some beach toys (e.g. pails and shovels) for children to play with on the beach.

    • Fabulous deep sea fishing. Lot's of charter boat available. OC is known as the Marlin Capital of the World. One of the most anticipated events of the summer is the White Marlin Open, the premiere fishing tournament of the year in OC. Long known as the “World’s Largest Billfish Tournament,” this year’s event, scheduled for August 3-7, marks the White Marlin Open’s 36th year of exciting fishing action. Beach volleyball is very popular at OC. Volleyball nets are set up on the beach for the summer for everyone at no charge. Professional beach volleyball is coming to OC! the Association of Volleyball Professionals tournament, which will take place on the sand at Dorchester and Somerset Streets. The weekend AVP stop on the pro beach volleyball tour is moving from Wildwood, NJ to OC. The volleyball tournament will take place Thursday through Sunday, June 18-21 and the tournament finals on the beach will be televised by ESPN.

Why the Owner Chose Oceana

When we were looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath beach front vacation home to buy in Ocean City, we were interested in a number of criteria.

First we picked location based on 1) Not on the boardwalk as we were looking for a quieter getaway, 2) not in a high rise with all of the crowds, 3) not in North Ocean City as it was too far away from most of the places we enjoy going. The made mid-town with the low rise buildings the obvious choice.

Next we focused on the amenities. We wanted a pool, reserved parking, solid management company, elevator, and washer dryer. We found two buildings that met all of our criteria, Oceana II and the Calypso. Once we looked at units in each building, the choice was obvious, Oceana II had central AC and Calypso did not. We were so lucky that we were able to find a corner unit in our favorite building.

We enjoyed the wonderful amenities offered by the Whelan's and cannot wait to stay again next year.
