We had a wonderful time at this property! It was very clean and well maintained, a definite upgrade from a timeshare! It had all the amenities one could ask for in an apartment, it was like staying at a friends! The owners were helpful and friendly! A perfect retreat for 4-6 adults, we were a group of ladies on a gIrls get-away, and we had a blast! The beach is wonderful and clean, the view is awesome and it is very easy to catch the bus either direction and we could drive or walk to eat or do a convience shop for basic food or drinks! We have started the count down til we can go again! Would definitely recommend it to a friend. We would recommend The Blue Ox as a fun place to go for dinner on a deck!

What a great place! Beautifully located, excellent views, Condo very confortable, the master bedroom is a dream. Only negative is cleanliness of the bathrooms counters/faucets, but not enough to take away from the charm of the condo. We WILL be back. Normand & Nicole

Owner response:We completely remodeled the Guest Bathroom this winter. The vanity and faucets were a little dated, although usable. They were replaced as well as the medicine chest, toilet, and wallpaper. We think it is so shiny and pretty.

This place is A++. Everything you hope for when you come to OC. The BEST ocean front view from the master bedroom and living room. Beautiful sunrises and watching the dolphins almost every day was awesome. Exceptionally clean condo, well stocked with everything you need. The owners are the best, if you need them for anything they are there. We start planning our next stay on the way out the door.

The owners of this condo did a great job describing it, but it"s hard to put into words the view of the ocean from the living room, and master bedroom! The wall of windows is breathtaking. The condo itself was very nicely furnished and clean. It was extremely well stocked with books, dvds, games, and beach chairs. Check in and check out were a breeze thanks to the informative booklet sent to us by the owner . The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. He also returned our security deposit in a timely fashion. We will certainly recommend this condo to our friends and hope to stay here again in the near future.

The condo was one of the best vacation beach rentals we have had over the years. Dave, the owner was great to work with, flexible and attentive to details. The handbook was great, we kept it handy and it made the move in simple and effortless. Despite a week of clouds, fog and rain, we had a great time; the condo was so cozy and the view from the master bedroom beautiful at all hours of the day. Although the weather prevented us from a lot of beach time, we were pleasantly surprised at the new beach chairs in the closet (along with a lot of books, games, and DVDs). Not common at the end of a season! Beautifully furnished and decorated the pictures don't do it justice. We'll be returning.

This was my family's sixth year coming to Ocean City and this was by far the most beautiful place we have stayed! Everything you read and see in the listing is absolutely true about the condo!! You couldn't possibly ask for more!!! Even on rainy days there are more than enough movies,books and board games to keep you busy. My favorite part of our vacation was waking up in the morning to the sound of the ocean and having breakfast on the balcony....what a view!! Also being able to walk out of the condo and walk a few feet to the beach was GREAT!!!! That is a definite plus for families with young children like us who like to take ALOT of toys to the beach!! This will definetly without a doubt be our first choice for next year. Thank you so much for allowing my family to stay in your condo it was our best time here yet!!!

We spent two weeks here on our summer vacation and had a wonderful time. The condo was exactly as advertised with all the comforts of home. The owners were great and the renters guide they sent was perfect. It answered all the questions one might have while renting : dining, shopping needs, utilities, remote controls (thank you!) etc. Condo is in a great location, steps from the beach and a short drive from the boardwalk, close to everything you might need but still quiet at night. We can't wait to come back!

My family just returned from our vacation. This was our second time staying in this condo (our third year in the Oceana). We just love it there and it feels like home to us now. The owners are wonderful to work with and their OC handbook is very helpful even for us who have been vacationing in OC our entire lives. The condo is so comfortable and we just loved the new sofa and loveseat (and matching dining chairs). Can't wait for next summer, we hope to stay again.

The moment we arrived we knew we were going to not want to ever leave. The condo was very clean, very comfortable, and extremely well equipped with anything you would need. We spent each morning on the balcony, and each night before we went to bed on the balcony. The location on the beach was perfect. As you state, close to everything, but away from the crowds when you want to be. We knew the first night, after eating the pizza you recommended, to continue with your restaurant recommendations.We did, and enjoyed each and every meal we had. My family just spent a wonderful mini-vacation at Dave and Theresa's condo. This beautiful home is located mid-town, right on the beach! We fell asleep each night to the sounds of waves crashing on the shore and woke to breath-taking sunrises. There are so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. We did need our car to get to the boardwalk, but that was ok. We got to tour a little more of the town on the way. The condo was very clean and fully stocked. All we needed was our cloths and toothbrushes. Dave was a great "landlord", and answered all our pre-trip questions promptly. No complaints here! We hope to be back soon.

Five of us spent Sprigfest weekend at the condo and had a wonderful time. The condo was everything the ad said (and more) and the pictures don't do it justice! Many extra touches that made you feel at home. The owners were great to work with and provided super information about everything. One really neat thing is the "keyless" doors - just remember your code and it makes life a lot easier than digging for a key! I would recommend this condo to anyone and hope to rent it again myself - soon!

My mom and I travel to O.C. each year for spring break. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo lends itself to reminding you that you are at the beach every minute of your stay. Because the weather is a little unpredictable during this time of year, we sometimes can't get outside. The spectacular views from the condo bring the outdoors in. We spent a week at the beach and it felt like it even if we were inside. The owner was extremely easy and nice to work with. Dave, thank you for sharing your beach home with us! We will be back.

A True Home Away From Home (But without the hassles and WITH an ocean as your front yard)

My wife and I always come down to Ocean City for our anniversary, so as it approached this year I took to the VRBO site to look for a place. We usually stay bayfront and after having to cancel at another place due to work being done there, I decided to change it up a little this time and look for oceanfront. We found this condo and knew as soon as we saw the wall to wall windows out to the ocean and the private balcony, we knew this was the place for us. After reading several reviews, the choice was confirmed. The view is absolutely amazing. The beach & ocean is so close. The condo itself is very comfy and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. All of the amenities that the owners have provided just added to the comfort. (The DVD's, wi-fi, flat screen TV's, etc) We enjoyed the nights there so much, we actually never got around to watching any DVD's though. We loved the place so much we wished we had booked it longer than 4 nights. We will definitely be back. So much more enjoyable than the usual routine at a hotel. Thanks Dave!

Off Season Retreat - I'll be Back

This condo was excellent for an off season retreat. The owners have stocked it with all the kitchen amenities for eating in. The ocean was mesmerizing from the warmth inside the windows that look right into those waves. We were able to play putt putt golf at one of the indoor golf places, see the Winter Light Festival on the trams, and play many games from the closet. There were many movies to chose from and internet access. What more do you need? I felt like I was at home but without the worries, phone calls, and things that consume my time. The owners pride in taking care of their beach home is evident in so many ways. This was very relaxing and a good place for a retreat. I'll definately recommend it to my friends and ladies groups.

My family and I stayed at the condo for 3 nights and 4 days. This condo is beautiful. The view was magnificent. The place is well equipped and very comfortable. It was raining when we got to OC and were worried that we would be stuck in the condo all night. We stayed in that night but it was fine. We sipped some wine and had some coffee at the balcony and watched the ship on the horizon.The view from the living room and the master bedroom is awesome. We like where the condo is located, not noisy but not boring. We are thinking of renting the condo next year during the summer for one week so we could enjoy the swimming pool too. The owner of the condo were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend staying at this condo to everybody.

My husband and I, along with our best friends enjoy an annual fall getaway in Ocean City. Your beachfront condo was wonderful. The beds were comfortable - which is a nice plus. Although we didn't do any cooking, we did utilize the coffee pot every morning and enjoyed our coffee watching the sunrises on the balcony. We also saw the dolphins every morning. The communication with the owner was good, and the guest handbook was impressive.

Girls Get Away Week

We did a girls get away, and although the condo was in a great area, we were a little disappointed in the condo itself. The building is old, and in need of repair, and although the condo itself has been updated, it still needs some work.

Owner response:Thank-you for your feedback on the condo. The building was constructed in 1974 and although it has been maintained well, it does require periodic upgrades to keep it in great shape. The elevator lobbies have been refurbished in 2010 and the building is scheduled to be resealed and repainted in 2011. The interior of the condo is also being maintained to be as near-new as possible. In 2011, prior to the Spring, we are replacing the living room queen sofa and loveseat, the carpet, and putting on a fresh coat of paint. The condo interior will continue to show the pride of ownership as we continue to maintain it at very high standards for the owners and our guests that rent it.

Absolutely Amazing & Relaxing

I stayed in this oceanfront condo for a week with my friends in August 2010. It was extremely comfortable, with all the comforts of home. The condo is very well stocked from cooking utensils; movies; all the way to the beach chairs and umbrellas, and very generous of the owner to allow the guests to use them. The keyless entry is a nice added feature as well. From the moment you walk in, you are in paradise. We cooked breakfast in the condo, went back for an afternoon lunch break from the sun - but were still able to enjoy the beach from the balcony. The balcony has got to be one of the best features of this lovely condo. It's so very relaxing any time of the day. I loved evenings sipping a glass of wine and just relaxing w/ friends watching the ocean. It is just a short elevator ride down to the spectacular beach. The pool was very refreshing as well. And I actually saw some dolphins playing in the ocean from the balcony! The location of the condo couldn't be better - it's directly on the beach - yet far enough from the hustle & bustle of the busy boardwalk. Many stores & restaurants w/in walking distance and it's not a high rise building - so the beach doesn't seem to be as crowded!!! The owners are very accomoodating, knowledgeable and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have about Ocean City or the condo itself. I look forward to being able to be back at this lovely condo next year.

Great Condo

Our family stayed in this unit for a week in August 2010. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and carefree week. This unit is an "owner-used" unit which tells you that it is filled with all the comforts of home and it is not just an investment property. We were lucky enough to have some mild summer days and nights and did not need to use the AC because of the breeze coming off the ocean. Keyless entry removes the worry of having to keep track of the room key while on the beach. We cooked breakfast most days, enjoyed a lunch break at the unit which is just a few short steps from the beach, and cooked many dinners which makes vacation more affordable for families. The owner was very responsive to communications before and during .our vacation. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance to the unit. Flat screen TVs in living room and both bedrooms with a library of DVDs came in handy on the rain out day. Kids enjoyed PS2 and games which is also located in the unit. My favorite feature of this condo has to be the balcony. I enjoyed many sunrises over the ocean with my morning coffee.

Our family stayed at the condo in July 2010. The condo was perfect. The beach views, especially from the master bedroom, were breathtaking. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the second bathroom made our stay much more comfortable. There were stores directly across the street so we didn't have to go far for takeout or snacks. Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins was less than a block away. I am so glad we chose this condo - it couldn't have been more perfect.

Mini Week Rental

My husband and I and our 3-year old twins stayed in this unit at the Oceana II in mid-July 2010. We only wanted to stay for a short week and the owners were able to work with us, so we stayed Mon-Fri. It's a beautiful unit and we were able to tell that the owners took a lot of pride in their ownership. The ocean views are spectacular. From the master bedroom you have views of the bay and ocean. I do cook while on vacation and the kitchen has everything you'll need to make a big breakfast or dinner. If you love to read or watch movies, there are tons (I mean tons) to choose from. We felt right at home and plan on coming back again and staying longer than 5 days.

My husband and I rented this unit for a mini-week in March 2010 for our anniversary. The place was just what we were looking for -- views/sounds of the ocean, comfortable, and clean. The corner unit has outstanding views from all angles. From the side bedroom window, you can even see the bay. The detailed handbook the owner provided was excellent and answered nearly all our questions about the unit. We had one small issue with the building access code and we called the owner and he answered the phone right away. The only thing that we missed was that the cable was only basic and my husband likes to watch cable news. But that wasn't a huge deal because we had wireless internet access. The pictures are exactly what the unit looks like. We had everything we needed and then some. Since it was off-season, we were nearly the only ones in the building. We didn't see anyone else until the last day we were there. Our overall experience was wonderful. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. We promptly received our security deposit. We are looking forward to renting the unit again when it is warmer! We highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay here. We very much enjoyed the ocean view. The sounds of the ocean at night were amazing. When we were at the beach, we saw dlphins a few times. They were really close to the shore! Thank-you for letting us stay here. We had a wonderful and fun vacation. We are looking forward to returning next year.

This I'd the nicest unit I have stayed at in the forty years I have been coming to OC. What a magnificent view. I liked looking for dolphins from the balcony while having my morning coffee. I can't wait to come back !
