  Our family stayed in Blue Diamond during the month of june 2012. The house is beautiful and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. There were fresh flowers in the rooms and a bottle of wine on our arrival which was very nice. We have stayed in Navarre several times and really enjoy it there. Restaurants and stores are all close by and several to choose from. The beach however is a 5 minute walk to the public beach access but if you are bringing ice chests etc. you will need to drive to the public access parking lot to unload. We really enjoy the area being close to the bay and having the gulf across the street. Our only complaints and I have to agree with Phil from Bixby Okla. There are not pots in this house, we only saw 4 small pots big enough to cook for a party of 2 people. We had 8 peole in our house and my sister and her family were staying in a beach house down the street from us and so sometimes we were cooking for 16 people. I know Darleen said there were some Blue pots with lids but they dont exist, someone needs to check. My sister was not coming until the next day so she brought pots but the kitchen does need more basic essentials, such as pizza roller, can opener, blender and there is no wine glasses for wine...We did buy the two extra large blue bowls you will find in the kitchen for salads etc. we left them for the next visitors. My sister that was staying down the street from us in Pelician Landing had a well equipped kitchen in there beach house for a large party of people. But all in all the beach house was beautiful and we did enjoy our stay.

  All in all, we enjoyed our stay. I did have to buy a coffee pot while there, as someone left the owners coffee pot dirty and the coffee filter hadn't been emptied and left for quite awhile which left a white mold in it. But the area was great and the weather held out beautifully during our time there.

  Darleen, I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful our stay was in Navarre FL. The 10 hour trip from Kentucky for my daughter’s beach wedding was worth every mile. Darleen your place was spectacular. We could not have asked for a better set up. We had a welcome dinner for 90 of our closes family and friends at this home and it was perfect. We were able to use the deck area, the garage area, the outside area and keep the food inside and still have space for people to mingle around. I got compliments on the lovely home and let everyone know how wonderful the owner was to leave beautiful fresh flowers in every room and chocolates by the bed. We had lots of family staying in several other homes and condos on Navarre Beach but none compared to this home. Thank you for making our visit to Navarre effortless. We truly had a wonderful time.

  Thanks Darleen for sharing your home. We were there for Thanksgiving week, and it was perfect. Perfect weather, perfect location, perfect home. This house has everything you could possibly need including nice quality linens. Beds were so comfy. Our parents loved the inlaw suite on the main floor and we loved the master suite on the upper level. Awesome sunrise and sunsets from all the patios. We loved the fact that our dogs were able to vacation with us, and Darleen even had a dog bed for them! It was cool at night and we loved having the fireplace as well. The location was great, right on the sound and across from the beach. The best of both worlds:) We can't wait to go back.

  Thank you, Darleen! This house is soooo beautiful and the location is soooo fabulous. We brought our black lab/ border collie mix. He had never been to the beach. He just loved rolling around in the sand! That's what makes this location so wonderful. You can take a dog to the private beach on the Sound side, but not on the Gulf side. We did enjoy the Gulf side also without the dog. The location of this house is so wonderful because from the 3rd floor, you can see water to both the north and south. Just incredible. My husband is undergoing chemo for stage 4 cancer and he needed a nice restful vacation. It was perfect for him because he had so many spots around the house to lie around and listen to the peace. There were no partying noises! Darleen made sure that my husband had a blender (for Ensure & ice cream shakes) and any other comfort to make his vacation perfect. We are really so thankful. I rented a SUP board down at Juana's and shared it with neighbors from the condos. People were just so friendly. The memory of our vacation will stay with me for a long time!   My family stayed in the Blue Diamond for spring break in March 2011. The house was very comfortable and relaxing with two large decks from which you can enjoy views of Santa Rosa Sound to the north and the Gulf to the south. If you want restaurants, shopping and crowds, Destin is only a 30-minute drive away. Our only complaints: the door locks are a little cumbersome and there were no pots and pans for cooking -- but these were minor things. Otherwise, we had most of the conveniences of home. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to add a night to our stay ... and we will try to stay there again the next time we need to "Go Coastal" (as Kenny Chesney sings).

  Owner response: OK, Hi faulks, I wouldn't normally respond. However, pots and pans are kinda importantant when you are away from home. Eating out can get to be to much!. I have five children and I stay here. I cook here. There are pots and pans, you can cook, bake and grill. No stir fry, that you will have to get in town. I am sorry for the trouble that Phil had in finding the pots and pans. They are usually in the kitchen, to the right or left of the stove on the bottom shelf of the corner cabinets. They are blue pots, clear lids. Pans are silver none stick. And some glass dishes. I am glad Phil injoyed his stay inspite of that, had he called, texted, or emailed. I would have come out and found them for him. I will say, the house keeper SOMETIMES. puts things in places I wouldn't. However, Stuff for the kitchen should be in the kitchen, and since Phil has left I have went and placed my own eyes on the pots and pans. Because I do know that there are times that people allow their children to play with a spoon and a pot or pan. : ) While they grill up dinner. They all come back up though, so far. I just wanted to chech and make sure. And I was right. They are there. There are also buckets and shovels in the garage for children to play, but I know how it is when you have three kids and two shovels. People leave toys, and guest are willing to play. But there are pots and pans. YOU CAN COOK. Thanks, Darleen : )
