Located on the South Coast of Jamaica, Boiler Beach House is the ultimate destination for the traveler seeking tranquility in a thoroughly Jamaican environment. Unspoilt by Tourism, the Fishing Village of Alligator Pond was initially inhabited by Jamaica's earliest settlers, the Taino Indians. Pottery shards are still available in the many middens in the area, and the property was named Boiler because the sea "boils" where an underground river is located in the sea in front of the house.
Manatees can regularly be seen at this spot where they come to enjoy the fresh water supply. The house has been owned by the same family for generations and was the family's "Bathing Cottage" for the Cattle property once established there. The original wooden cottage is close to 200 years old and has evolved as a unique representation of Jamaican architecture of its time. The Swimming Pool is fed by underground springs emanating from the Limestone hills of Manchester and is cold, refreshing and entirely free from chemicals.
Accommodations are presented as three two-bedroom suites with their own bathroom and entirely private from each other, and Guests enjoy the constant Sea and Land Breezes under a large Thatched area overlooking the ocean. The Staff at "Boiler", Mr & Mrs Stephen (Jolly) Willliams have been with the family for over forty years.
