This 4,000 sq. ft. custom lake front home is situated on one acre gently sloped to the water.
Features include 3 bedrooms on the main level--1 King (Master) w/jacuzzi, 1 King second bdm , 1 Queen third bdm. and 2 1/2 baths -- 12' ceilings in great room and one bedroom and 9' ceilings on remainder of first floor. Upstairs Bonus Room has 1 Queen, 2 Twins, crib and full bath. Additional bedroom upstairs has 1 Queen. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the day either inside or out. The great room, sunroom/office and large kitchen are open and bright with lots of windows overlooking the lake. The rec room in basement is designed for kids to have their own space with TV,VCR, and lots of games, including Wii. Watch the sunrise over the water from the front porch while sipping your morning coffee. Later in the day, take in the sunset from the deck under the pergola w/luxury seating accommodations. View is spectacular. Relax on the boat dock under the covered luxury seating area or soak up the rays on the chasie lounges on the sandy beach.
Feed the fish from the dock -- cat fish, carp and turtles all welcome your arrival. One slip available for your boat. Community boat launch, however, owner must be present for launch and retrieval of your boat. Club Car electric Golf Cart provided for use by "adults only" to transport things and self to and from the boat dock.
Linens, paper towels, toilet tissue, kitchen towels, alum foil, zip loc bags, plastic wrap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher (Cascade), Gain (laundry detergent), clorox, & coffee filters provided.

On a quiet street in a peaceful neighborhood of Lake Anna, Virginia, sits the home where I spent my latest adventure. When I walked through the door, I was greeted by a welcome note and goodies left for me by my gracious host.
The home had all the bear necessities and much more! The large great room is bright and sunny with many windows that show off this home’s spectacular view of the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the needed appliances and utensils. However, the addition of some gourmet kitchen appliances such as a Belgian waffle maker and milk shake machine put this house a step above the rest. The master bedroom offered a large king sized bed that was so comfortable that it was perfect excuse to hit the snooze button and sleep in each morning. The master suite also featured a two person Jacuzzi tub which I soaked my paws in every night after a day of play.
When I wasn’t playing the Nintendo Wii found in the furnished basement, watching a DVD chosen from the available movie collection, or basking in the sun on the spacious deck that over looks Lake Anna, I explored the surrounding area. The home is only a short distance from Lake Anna State Park that offers biking, hiking, horse back riding trails, swimming, picnicking, and fishing. Nearby are several wineries which offer tours and tastings. I also visited the historical homes of past presidents- Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe- all of which were within an hour’s drive from the home. Charlottesville, Virginia is also about an hour away which features the University of Virginia as well many shopping and dining spots.
The owner, Bonnie, made herself available to answer my questions about the home and also provided excellent suggestions for local restaurants and points of interest. Her husband even offers cruises of the lake on their boat for a fee.
This home is large enough to accommodate several families and yet cozy enough for a couple. It’s a warm and inviting place, urging you to come back year after year. It’s a place where memories are made.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Anna
We live in Northern Virginia and wanted something within 1 1/2 hrs. from our home. We searched for 2 years and found this lot in 1995, built our custom home in 1999. The location is perfect. Our home is comparable to the luxury Ocean Front homes on the Outer Banks at a fraction of the rental cost. We sold Sound Front lot on the Outer Banks to build this home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Farm animals, wildlife and a gorgeous view -- its a perfect place to relax and unwind. I love sitting on the covered dock watching the world go by while listening to the windchimes being ever so gently played with the constant breeze. In the evening, we sit on the deck under the pergola -- low intensity lighting creates a glow -- and enjoy the sounds of nature. The sky is filled with stars which are so clearly visible. It's a beautiful setting!!!

We have just returned from our week at Crescent Point. We were all so happy with our stay in your beautiful home. The house fit us perfectly. We had every opportunity to be all together and enough room for us to find our own space and relax. Your home is appointed so nicely from the overstuffed couches in the living room to the fire pit on the deck to "everything you need" in the kitchen! The air-hockey, ping pong table and wii was a big hit in the evenings! We rented a Pontoon boat M-F and had lots of fun on the water. We visited the battlefields, Monticello, Univ. of Va, and King's Dominion. The Food Lion was a real convenience. Thanks you for opening your home to me and my family. We have made a lot of memories this past week.

CFrom the moment we arrived, we knew we were going to have a great week ahead of us. The home met all our needs and many more. We have never experienced a vacation home where so many amenities were provided, i.e., paper products, golf cart usage, beautiful outdoor furniture, convenient boat launch to name a few. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linens were top quality. My six year old granddaughter is already wanting to go back next year!!! I couldn't tell you how many hours my four granddaughters spent catching turtles and seeing whose turtle could get back in the water the fastest. The dock is also one of the nice features of this property - very spacious with tables and seating right on the dock. The owner was nice enough to allow us to bring a second boat which we found very convenient for our family of ten. We discovered an area in the lake known as the "sandbar" in which you can actually stand waist deep in the middle of the lake and it allows the little ones to actually touch as well. Our family is still talking about how much fun we had there. If you're looking for a special vacation experience this is definitely the home for you.

This rental started and finished with detail! From promt professional responses, getting questions answered about the house and the local area, and ending with a quick return of your rental deposit. In between was a stay at someone's special residence. Flowers, decorations, platters, grills, mixers, cutlery, internet, dish network, golf cart, boat slip, a huge patio, and a spacious layout that is great for entertaining. The house is extremly clean, and is well air conditioned. In a very quiet neighborhood. You could take a chance somewhere else, but why?

The home was very well appointed; obvious that the owner uses it as a residence. Everything from descent cookware to paper products are included, which is unusual from my experience. The boat house, small private beach, large yard, spacious deck (covered and open sections) and private location made this a very enjoyable stay for our two families. The owner was also very helpful before, during, and after our stay. We will likely return to this home next year.

Everyone in our 12 person family, from 97-year old grandma to 22 month old Joshua, enjoyed a memorable week here in 2010. The house has terrific bright family spaces and great smaller spaces for quiet talks. The deck overlooks a really large play area where bunches of grandchildren can chase soccer balls and burn off their abundant energy. The owner developed beach area is shaded by a magnificent weeping willow and proved to be a fun venue for turtle races. The turtles were easily netted from the dock and were encouraged to "race" down the beach back to their lake home. The young kids had lots of fun catching catfish and perch (and turtles) right off the dock in the early morning hours. The view of the lake from the deck is really beautiful and everything is meticulously maintained. The abundance of bathrooms is a real plus for a large group and all were well stocked by the owner. This is a very easy place to like and is a place we will definitely consider returning to for another vacation.

My family of 8 adults and grandkids stayed at this beautiful property in August 09. It is beautiful and just as it is listed. The owners were very friendly and gracious, even bringing food for the grandkids to feed the fish at the dock in the evenings. The dock was great with easy access for your own boat. WE would definitely stay here again. Lorri T
