**We are DONE remodeling our unit! We have completely redone the kitchen and both baths, adding new cabinets, granite countertops with undermount sinks and new fixtures. No more carpet - we now have tile floors in the entire unit! We added ceiling fans to both bedrooms, Added new light fixtures, and put in new ceiling texture. This is a total remodel - not a cosmetic band aid!

Kent's Kona Condo is a truly ocean front vacation experience. To SWIM with the DOLPHINS all you have to do is grab your gear and head for shore. As the boats come in to drop their swimmers you will be able to simply jump into the water, swim a few yards and enjoy a pod of 20 or do dolphins that cruise through Kailua Bay each morning. We even have 3 sets of snorkel gear you can use! Now use the $130 per person you just saved to grab a cold one and watch the sunset right from the private lanai!
The views from the lanai offer an unbelievable panorama of those famous Kona sunsets as you watch the lights of Kailua-Kona twinkling across Kailua Bay each evening.

We are both looking forward to being able to retire and move to the Big Island. We both love to snorkel, bike, and hike so this is a perfect location to spend our winters. The problem with that is - we aren't old enough to retire yet! We have the ideal place for when we get to that stage of our lives.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Village
We chose Kona for many reasons; number one being the predictable weather. Nothing like booking a vacation to another part of Hawaii and having to deal with rain. This is rarely the case in Kona!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our unit in Sea Village is perfectly located to maximize the 180 degree views of the bay and open ocean, while having no road noise or noise from the pool. Just the waves washing up on the rocks below the lanai.

Over a year ago, we spent a fabulous week at this condo and then recommended it to friends, who later vacationed there. The view was incredible! We spent hours on the balcony enjoying God's creation--the ocean, sunsets, and spinner dolphins. The condo is close to snorkeling beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We appreciated being able to eat most meals in and barbecue by the pool. There was no wait at the tennis courts, and racquets are provided. We hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay very much...especially the view from the lanai (saw whales, dolphins, and turtles)! The only complaints we have are: #1 - the microwave was extremely powerful and may need a sign on it saying that! #2 - the hide-a-bed in the living room was not comfortable (needs a better mattress). Overall... it was an excellant place to stay though!

Thank you Steve for allowing us to use your beautiful condo in Sea Village. It was everything and more than what we expected from your photos and description on VRBO. It was spotless clean when we arrived so we just had to bring our clothes and food. The view was awesome. We watched a humpback whale give birth right from the deck. She then played and taught the baby how to swim and breath for the rest of the day....pretty cool. We didn't have to spend a lot of money to go on a whale watching boat. My sister and brother in law from Kingston Ont joined us for 2 weeks and they thoroughly enjoyed the king bed. We walked down to the pier every morning and stopped at the market on days it was open for fresh fruit. Great place.....hope we can come back soon. Lavern and Colleen, Calgary Ab

This condo is everything we had hoped for. We have stayed at the Sea Village before and loved the location and quiet atmosphere but the old condo was no longer available to us so I found Steve's place online. The pictures and description are pale in comparison to the real thing. The view and great snorkeling and swimming right below the unit are the best. When I got over how cool it was I discovered how well equipped it was. Everything we needed was there for us to use. We had boogie boards and fins, snorkel gear (good stuff), spices, hand weights for early morning workouts, ice chests and packs and even frozen drink glasses ready to go. Quick walk into town or easy get away to wother parts of the island without having to go through town. Loved it!!!!!! Want to be there now!!!!!

I loved this condo and the RIGHT ON THE OCEAN VIEW! Waking up every morning, having breakfast on the lanai, and watching the dolphins made me never want to leave. We even took some bread and balled it up to throw into the water to see if we could attract some fish. Sure enough as soon as we threw it in they were all over it, and I was amazed at how clear the water was. Most days were filled with snorkeling right out in front of the condo, and either sitting by the pool or heading to a nearby beach. We even went kayaking and snorkeling with the dolphins at Captain Cook's memorial. This cemented Kona as my favorite Hawaii destination. I've been to Kauai, and Maui as well, and neither seem to match up when comparing weather and water conditions. Needless to say I will be returning as soon as possible. As for the condo itself, it was very clean and has an efficient set up. You can't ask for a better ocean view. Enjoying the mornings and evenings out there on the lanai was a perfect start and finish to an amazing vacation day. The bedrooms and bathrooms are adequate for lodging. There was no noise from the road or other units. It's in a great location, sort of tucked in the corner away from all the rest of the complex and the road. It was also nice to have 2 bathrooms and not have to share one. The kitchen and dining/living room area are more than adequate for entertaining/eating a meal, and relaxing at night after a fun filled day. I'll definitely be staying here again as soon as I can get back. Hopefully it will be available, places like this are hard to come by! Thanks for a great stay.
