Maison Rue Perry is exactly as it appears in the description, so there were no surprises, but when we arrived to find Heather sitting on the porch waiting for us, we knew that we were in for a special stay. She quickly helped us sort out the parking situation and once our car was ensconced in its place we did not move it for 4 days. This is the land of live oaks and hanging moss, magnolia trees and night-scented jasmine. The architecture of the buildings in this historic part of town is total eye candy. Bring lots of digital space on your camera. Savannah's 24 squares laid out on a grid road pattern provide the backdrop for many historic, not to mention gorgeous, houses. Crawford Square is right out the front door of this property. These squares provide islands of tranquillity, shade and beauty in the city, which, because of the short distances and level, tree-lined streets between them, make it a walker's paradise. Heather provided all the necessities to eat, either in or out, with excellent restaurant recommendations and a well stocked kitchen of the basics. A very good grocery store is only a 20 minute saunter away. The small courtyard garden was a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day. And the warm Savannah nights were the icing on the cake. The historic Savannah Theatre (founded in 1818) is only a 5 minute stroll from Rue Perry and, except for Monday nights, provides wonderful live musical theatre entertainment in the vaudeville tradition. True southern hospitality found here!

Savannah is a beautiful city and Maison Rue Perry is the perfect "home base" for a sojourn to the Hostess City of the South. The location cannot be beat: it's on a beautiful square and within easy walking distance to everything you could possibly want to see! This charming and spacious town house is exceedingly well appointed so it may prove hard for you to motivate yourself to leave and explore, but Heather gives A+ tips on where to eat and play during your stay. Our stay was not nearly long enough, but it did give us ample time to know we MUST return and, if we are lucky enough, we will stay at Maison Rue Perry again.

Just returned from 3 night stay. Perfect location...easy walking distance to anywhere yet quiet. We felt very safe and met some very nice neighbors. Better than staying a hotel. Everything is very high end had everything we needed.

The location was perfect, easy walking to River Street and Forsythe Park. You could literally park the car and not move it at all (except for street cleaning once a week)The property is well cared for, it's super clean, beautifully decorated and had every amenity you could think of (even condiments including coffee/tea/water). Our two shih tzus, Simba and Rosie were thrilled, they had treats and really nice food dishes. Don't think twice - you'll enjoy every minute. The property description doesn't do it justice.

We really enjoyed our stay, mostly because of all the "Extras" Heather provided. The cookware is first class. Not only are dogs welcome, but there are dog biscuits and food / water bowls as well as a basket of toys. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything, seasoning, mayo & mustard, bottled water ect. Everything is "First Class"

Dear Heather,Many thanks for the opportunity. We enjoyed wandering in Savannah, it is so pleasant to leave (the home) and take advantage of the easy walks around. At the end of the day the Maison Rue Perry is very relaxing and so well furnished with the “Heather” touch and sense for details, and the feeling of something personal. Job well done. We did follow your recommendations for restaurants – very good food and charming atmosphere. We will continue our journey in Georgia and the Carolinas, after having a taste of what southern hospitality is about and thanks again for that. Merci pour tout.

Wyatt our 15 month old especially liked the toys you provided – thank you so much. Since we're moving to New York I'm not sure when we'll be back, but we will definitely look you up again. We wore out our shoes walking and shopping!! The tours of Savannah are certainly worth while, but this house was the icing on the cake! The amenities, cleanliness and hominess made the trip even more relaxing. Heather & Wes felt like old friends the moment we met. Follow their advise for the attractions and dining. We will definitely return to Savannah and the Maison Rue Perry! Many thanks!

What a fantastic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Heather thought of everything. It was as if we were staying with friends. The location was absolutely perfect for our group. We walked for miles with our toddler wandering through all the squares and past beautiful and historic homes. We felt as if we lived here.We will definitely tell folks of this wonderful home and stay here on future trips to Savannah. We can’t thank Heather enough!
