A newly constructed private residence situated in the tranquil Litchfield Hills of Kent, Connecticut. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath colonial farmhouse is set on 8 glorious acres with century old stone walls complete with beautiful birch and oak trees. Inside a gracious foyer with oak flooring welcomes you, the field stone wood burning fireplace anchors the great room that is joined by a beautiful sun room/dinning room. The focal point of the first floor is the top of the line chef’s kitchen. Sub Zero fridge/freezer, Wolf range, Wine fridge, two dishwashers, spacious granite counter tops. Why the Owner Chose Kent
I live in New York City and I think it is the greatest city in the world but its also nice to get away. In the spirit of a convenient "getaway", I purchased eight acres of land in the Town of Kent, Ct. (Litchfield County). In 2007 the construction phase was completed and in 2008 enjoying the house became a reality.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I created an absolutely peaceful "getaway" with all the comforts of a brand new modern house. The privacy is surreal. The open floor plan with gourmet kitchen and lofted living room with the fireplace are places where friends and family congregate indoors. The heated free form pool, hot tub and spacious deck are make the backyard special. There are two master bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.
