Laurie is a lawyer and Arthur is in the airline and destination-event-planning industries. We live in Calgary, Alberta and are avid travelers. Considering Hawaii to be one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we have seen, we were married in Maui in 2003. In the fall of 2007 we welcomed a new little traveler into the world, our son Aiden, who has already travelled with us to Hawaii four times since he was born. The following year, we realized our dream of owning a property in Hawaii, and specifically on the island of Maui. We find Hawaii to be the perfect place to travel with children. After many months of detailed research, we settled on the Kaanapali Shores property as being the best property, in the greatest location, as well as the best value we could get for our money. It was a place we definitely wanted to return to year after year with Aiden, and with the extensive renovations we completed on our unit, we made it into an extraordinary “home away from home”. The way Aiden’s face lights up every moment we are there make it worth every penny and we look forward to many, many more trips to Maui with him.
