My family and our friends LOVE this place. It is beautiful inside, great backyard, great location, and Rich is great to work with. We stayed with a total of 10 people, 2 families of 5 and there is plenty of room! Rent this place and enjoy!
Recommended for:Families with young children.
Modern, upmarket and clean... yet still well suited to travellers with children.

We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (between ages 9 and 2 years). We stayed here in early spring and were delighted with this property. The house was modern and clean (the photos do not do it justice). The house was about a 10 minutes walk from the center of Carmel. It was extremely spacious both inside and outside, with a fully fenced yard perfectly suited to children (with a large playhouse and putting green!!) The kitchen was well stocked, clean and had everything we would need. The owner was particularly easy and pleasant to deal with. We would gladly stay here again.

Our family had such a wonderful time! It was a perfect vacation rental for the kids, they loved the playground and the golf course. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need (even an espresso machine) We absolutely loved this rental, the location was perfect for adventures in Carmel, Monterey, and Big Sur. We hope to come back this summer. Thanks!

This is a beautiful home and a wonderful location!!! I would love to spend the winter in this house. We are from Nebraska and did a family vacation with our three adult children and grandson. It was more economical than motel rooms and far more relaxing. After a day of sightseeing we could have dinner "at home" and relax. The owner helped make the rental stress free, and answered the questions that we had. I would love to have the opportunity to come back and stay in this home. The weather was perfect and there is so much to see and do in the area.

My family loved this house. We had children from ages 2-12 and there was something for all of them to enjoy.I have looked for other houses in the area,nothing compares to the asortment of amenities provided. We will return next year.

We stayed here with a group of friends to cut down the hotel costs for a May wedding. When you add up the cost for 4 couples to stay in their own rooms for three nights, it far exceeds the cost to just get a vacation house, especially in the carmel area. I just went off the pictures and really didn't know what to expect. This was the only listing that would allow a three night stay as opposed to a week. I sent my relatives who live in the area to take a peek and they were just blown away and wanted to know why we didn't rent this for them! lol! But I still didn't get the whole effect until we arrived and pulled into our very own gated home. Great location, right off the Hwy 1 with easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants and Monterey. The backyard is just breathtaking with roses and beautiful tile work. From the spa, to the golf green to the gas fire pit, gas grill and playground area, we didn't know where to begin! We had a fabulous dinner out back, then sat around the firepit followed by a relaxing glass of wine in the spa. We could have done this everynight for the rest of our lives. The kitchen is so fun to cook in with all the cookware and dishware you need and the built-in espresso machine is amazing! The rooms were so elegant and cozy and you just feel so relaxed and comfortable. We had one child with us and she couldn't be dragged away from the swing, slide and putting green. Our guests have already started planning a return trip and my sister is designing her new home based on the layout of this backyard, it's that incredibe! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great vacation home to relax and entertain friends and family! Thank you for your hospitality and for a wonderful stay in Carmel.

We had such a wonderful time at your vacation home. It is a beautiful home, yet still quite kid friendly. Truly, our kids would have been happy to just stay at the house and never go out to site sea. Although, Carmel was lovely! I highly recommend renting this home. The owner was great to work with, the place was very clean and we will definitely come back! I do have to say that the pics on the website do not do this place justice. Its much more beautiful than it looks.
