This was our first time in PR. My husband & 2 grown daughters stayed at this unit. The condo was beautiful, immaculate & very well appointed. The owners thought of everything! Only suggestion would be to get a quieter A/C in the 2nd bdrm. Andi was a pleasure to deal with, sent along lots of info about things to do in the area, where to eat, shop, sightsee etc. Complex was empty so we had the pools, and ocean to ourselves. A car is a must in order to sightsee. Highly recommend visiting, Old San Juan, rainforest and snorkeling on Culerbra. Would definitely come back!

The owner, Andi, is wonderful. Great beach location. Nicely furnished with many directions and suggestions for activities. Would highly recommend this property to couples or a family. Our daughters 12 and 14 enjoyed the beach and pool. Beach view is amazing, still look at it on my phone! THE MULLENS

This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and we weren't quite sure where to begin looking for a place to stay. We found Andi and John's property and instantly knew that this was the place where we wanted to stay. Andi was so helpful renting the unit to us, and even provided us with a list of things to do on and off the property with directions and phone numbers. We were able to plan our trip before even arriving in Puerto Rico. Check in was a breeze and the people were more than accommodating. Within minutes of walking into the unit, we felt right at home. Our bags were unpacked, we fixed a bite to eat, and immediately hit the beach. The unit was a home away from home. There was not one thing that we didn't have available to us in this unit. The entire property was fabulous - the restaurants, the stores, the market -- everything! The view from the balcony (where we ate a lot of our meals) was spectacular -- equal distance between the beach and the pools. This unit have every amenity you could ask for, and then some. We were able to spend some quality family time in a luxury setting at a very reasonable price. We simply cannot wait to go back, and will definitely try to rent this unit first.

We go back to Palmas each year and we count the days. Sitting on the Stix's porch and looking out onto the ocean is breathtaking. Andi refurbishes the unit ever year with new surprises. When we return home, we start counting the days to return back to Palmas. It's the greatest escape from real life. Our response to the frustrations to the day is "It's not Palmas!"

This condo is even more amazing in person than it is in the pictures! Large and well-equipped, I can't imagine a better place to stay. We lived on the balcony, eating our meals, playing games and just reading and relaxing. Andi was so helpful--she sent directions, suggested activities, etc. Stay here if you can!

The condo is all it is advertised to be and more. There are many small but important touches you would not notice at first, like good reading lights, extra fans, cake pans, comfortable chairs on the balcony and wonderful cross-ventilation. We turned the AC off after a couple of days and enjoyed the constant breezes day and night. The tennis center is a 10 or 12-minute walk, has lots of good courts, very capable, English-speaking pros and a friendly staff that helped locate partners. There's not a lot of nightlife or site-seeing, and the restaurant choices are slim, but we didn't care because we were there for tennis and the beach. The big issue of the day was which lovely reading spot to use -- the balcony, the beach or poolside. I had to work a bit and found solid WiFi connections and good Verizon cell service. If you go, take the owner's advice and shop for food on the way in, at the Ralph's off Exit 14 on Route 30. It's a very good supermarket, while the little store in Palmas del Mar is okay but limited. Would we go again? Absolutely!

Can’t wait to return as this is the greatest balcony ever! Very few people had terrific cushions and fans. We lived out on the balcony for cocktails during the late day hours. The beach is the deepest in all of Palmas as well as the nicest. We found that most people preferred to swim at our end, as it was the calmest. The unit was beautiful and very comfortable as Andi told us that bedrooms and kitchen were just updated and renovated. We couldn’t have been happier and can’t wait to return.

This is the greatest balcony ever! Loved the cushions and the fans. Regardless of the weather we were constantly outside enjoying the spectacular view. I enjoy baking and had fun making a few of my favorite recipes, as the kitchen if fully equipped. We ate out a couple of nights and enjoyed hanging out equally in their beautiful living room at night.

We choose this location for our annual summer vacation with our son and 10-year-old granddaughter. It was perfect in every way. The view of the beach from the balcony was spectacular. Lots of amenities in the condo - all the service people were friendly and helpful. Andi phoned to make sure everything was okay and we had absolutely no problems. The complex is guarded 24-7 and is very safe. There were 3 pools in our complex, and the resort offers tennis, golf cart rentals, and a variety of shops and restaurants. Also plenty of activities like snorkeling, kayaking, hiking in the rain forest, and shopping in old San Juan. Not to mention just lazing around the condo and enjoying the beautiful beach. The condo has two bedrooms and the master bedroom has a private entrance onto the balcony. There is plenty of living space and the four of us had a great time.

Warm, welcoming, comfy! We stepped into a home, not just a rental condo. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities we appreciate. A special surprise: treasured family recipes taped inside a kitchen cabinet door, along with a fabulous sangria recipe. Fun stuff! Outside, the wrap-around porch offered a treat for our sore eyes, tired from long winter months . Waves, palm trees, sand, sun, and flocks of pelicans skimming the water. We had a great time!

This third floor condo is perfectly situated to view the ocean & pool. Patio has sun & shade options. We lived on the patio. Condo exceeded our expectations with decorating, cleanliness, plush towels & a kitchen stocked with every item needed. They thought of everything. We didn't do as many road trips as planned because we couldn't tear ourselves away from the Palmas del Mar complex. Many restaurants are available right there. We also felt very safe in this gated community.

This is not a rental; this is a home. I loved the new full-sized barbeque because I love to grill fresh veggies and have barbecued chicken. The place is totally updated and squeaky clean. No mildew smell to be found; fresh as a flower. Their unit is the only one with a full set of furniture, ceiling lights, and fans on their porch, which we lived on. Also, their balcony is one of the few that has pull down shades so you can eat outside without having the direct sun bake on you. This is our third year coming here and I hate leaving.

How can you beat sitting on their wrap-around veranda overlooking the crystal blue Caribbean Sea? The yacht club and Tiki Bar are great fun. Loved to lounge every afternoon outside drinking cocktails with chips. The bed was comfy and the area was quiet and serene. You can play at the casino, hang out at the multiple pubs, or bring your own DVDs and watch them on their grand flat screen TV at night. Andi called to check up on us, which was quite nice.

This was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. It's a gorgeous apartment that has a truly "homey" feel. It's LITERALLY on the beach, has a huge incredible porch that you can watch the sunset, and a huge amount of space. We literally fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night, spent our days on the beach, or in the pool, mere steps from the apartment and the beach. The beauty of it all was that we could go to the beach or the without shoes on if we wanted to, it was that close.. so come lunch time, you just run upstairs and you're back in time for the next happy hour drink (medalla light was our drink of choice..but a pina colada never hurts!) The restaurants are spectacular. I happen to be a seafood lover, and some of our favorite restaurants (i.e. Latino's La Brochette and Bistro Rico) had some of the most delicious seafood dishes I"ve ever had. Plus, I was eating amongst some red meat eaters (I happen to not be), who raved over the steaks and racks of lamb. All in all, Palmas is spectacular, but it was really the apartment's placement in Palmas and the apartment itself (which has a million amenities, including a jaccuzzi bath and fully stocked kitchen) that made the trip something to be remembered indefinitely.

Without a doubt one of my favorite places to travel to is Puerto Rico - it is so easy to get to from the States and is not overwhelmingly expensive like Aruba (for example). I always would stay at one of those high end luxury hotels in San Juan or the Conquistador. HOWEVER, after staying at this location, Crescent Beach in Palmas del Mar, I am now even more hooked on Puerto Rico! The condo is very spacious and easily fits a family of 5. Not to mention, I can literally hear the ocean while I sleep. There is no hassle in traveling to Crescent Beach and it is strongly recommended. I had no car, but that did not stop me, everything is walking distance or there is an easy to use rental place on the campus. Oh, and not to mention, there is a gym, pool, 50 ft walk to the beach, multiple delicious restaurants, a supermarket, casino, and two golf courses. NOT BAD!

Stayed a week here. Very nice accomodations, no complaints at all. Very well laid out with both the living room and master suite opening onto a large ocean side terrace. The king bed is very comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen is a real bonus as is the living room with large tv, but really folks dont spend too much time in there, the terrace is the place to be!

Not only is this rental property first class, so too is the owner! When our plans fell through with another property at the very last minute, Andi made arrangements for my family including my 20 month old daughter (high chair and crib) to stay in her condo with less than 48 hours notice. She was a miracle worker and the condo is just as accomodating as she is. Sadly we had LOTS of rain so we were extremely grateful for all the extras the condo includes right down to the waffle iron! The wrap around porch has spectacular views and was a great place to hang out even when it was raining. It is convienently located within the resort including just a short walk to the Casino where we spent rainy afternoons. I can not recommend this unit strongly enough. You will feel like you are staying with a relative because you are so well taken care of and you won't ever want to leave. Thank you so much for a fabulous family vacation!

My job requires me to travel extensively and sometimes I just need to get away and escape. The Stix residence fit just the bill. As you have read from other reviews, the sheets were soft, the towels were plush, and the view from their spectacular balcony was to die for. During our full week stay, we had one day of rain.Well, normally, you would feel angry and closed in. Not so with the Stix's balcony, which is packed with games, a wrap around porch, and a barbeque. When Andi said that the rain does not hit their side of the facility, she was correct. We couldn't get over how much fun we had on that day. Regardless, the Palmas grounds were terrific, packed with lots to do. We enjoyed the casino, the wine bars, the great restaurants, and all the sports acitivities. To tell you the truth, we can't wait to return. We are literally counting the days. When you look at how often the Stix's unit is booked over the past two years, you realize why this is a paradise away from home.

This place was wounderful with a+ it is just like the pics, what you see is even better in person Andi the owner was so gracious and all the people who worked there. They went out of their way to help with anything. I can't say enough about how clean, nice furnishings, wonderful kitchen, balcony (were we stayed, ate, and most of the indoor stuff was really outdoors because the balcony was better than the pic). I can say all you need is your clothes, everything else is there to enjoy the beach, swimming, eating places, David' for a frozen mocha and the Yacht Club has a outside tiki bar ( do not have to be a member) food and entertainment was wonderful. You really never have to leave the property (recent health problems kept me from going anywhere but the beach and pool was so close I was in heaven even when everyone else was out) if you don't want and if you do you are a short drive to many places. We stayed 2 weeks a wonderful 2 weeks. I highly recommend this place and the owner I can't say enough, there were 4 adults and we all were so very happy, I wish I could return tomarrow I would go to same place with the same owner.Thank you Thank you Anna

I love music, art, and yoga. When I got to the Stix's unit, the view of the ocean was outstanding on their wraparound porch. Would you believe that they have a dresser on the patio which is filled with everything for the barbeque and for exercising? I took their yoga mats and their small hand weights and stretched every morning, listening to music while overlooking their breathtaking view. Yum! The unit even has see-through blinds on the porch so that I could lower them slightly to keep out the sun while exercising, but still see the blue sky. I brought my watercolors and painted daily. But, what I liked most about this unit were all the extra jimmies: from area rungs to a loaded kitchen. There's nothing like waking up in the morning and placing your feet on a rug, rather than on cold tile. From the make-up mirrors, to luxury towels, to the extra cushions for the beach, this place is the most overstocked unit we have ever rented. And, Andi called us a few days into our stay to see if everything was going well. What she promised us is exactly what we got, and even more than expected.

We could not believe how this wonderful apartment, as well as our overall experience, lived up to and even surpassed the listing description; also our expectations. The apartment was spotless and in great condition. The spectacular view looks directly at the ocean with palm trees making for the most relaxing of moods. The bedroom Jacuzzi was an added benefit that we enjoyed each afternoon. Best of all was the personal touch that Andi showed when she called us just to check that everything was fine, and asked if there was anything we needed. We've already booked for next year.
Owner response:It's a pleasure working with couples who take care of our place and respect it in the same way that we do. We look forward to having Judilee and her husband again next year!

This is place is the best! it is a gorgeous apartment in an incredible location. I've stayed here many times, I refuse to stay anywhere else when I come to Puerto Rico. You are literally steps from one of the most magnificent beaches in the world. The apartment is perfectly maintained, loved the interior, and felt incredibly homey. You can see the ocean views from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. But, the porch itself is the most winning feature. Awesome for families or groups of friends - it's spacious enough for entertaining. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will keep going back as long as I can.

I came with my boyfriend and another couple in late January -- escaping the freeze of NYC! My friend's description says it best, "Heaven on Earth". The apartment was gorgeous. Emaculately clean, full kitchen, two bedrooms, huge living room, a dining room, and quite possibly the most amazing porch I've ever been on in my life. It's LITERALLY on the beach - the views from the apartment are spectacular. The picture the homeowner posted is what you see from the porch, which happens to be huge. There's a table with chairs, lounge chairs, fans outside for when it's hot, shades to pull down -- you can tell the person got into it when they decorated. Palmas -- the resort we stayed at -- is pretty much like the Hamptons of PR. Awesome restaurants, a casino, wine bars -- AND, get this, they travel via Golf Cart. They have separate roads just for getting around the resort. Best restaurants: Latinos, Tapas Bar (amazing sangria), and for a fancier evening on the harbor, Chez Daniel. We're coming back here again for sure. We decided to make it a yearly event with our friends. BUT- we met a chatty woman on the beach who said "Shhh! Don't tell people about this place! It's the best hidden gem". Too bad for her..I have a big mouth.

While away for three weeks, I like to tinker in the kitchen at night as a source of relaxation. While my husband enjoyed the large flat screen TV, I conjured up great dishes in this fully-stocked kitchen. On our second day, Andi, the owner, called to make sure that everything was in order. My coursin, who recommended this rental, was right on the money. Palmas del Mar in and of itself is a 5 star resort. But the Stix extra care was the icing on the cake!

Nothing makes me happier than sitting out on the Stix’s wrap-around porch and reading a great novel. Every once in a while, I look up to rest my eyes and find the most breath-taking view on the Caribbean Sea. What I like most about this unit is its location on the best beach in Palmas del Mar: nice and deep, rather than the skinny and shallow ones- like most of them. Besides being a great unit, as described by so many other people’s reviews, it is in close proximity to great activities in and outside of Palmas. I’m the type of person who can only take the beach for half the day. For the other half, I need to shake my booty. Whether I am hiking in the rain forest, riding horses, swimming and snorkeling, watching the turtles give birth, kayaking in the bioluminescent bay, catamaran“ing” the ocean, or just bicycling around Palmas’s 5-star resort, this place suits my palate. And the evenings are just as great! I cooked marvelous meals in their well-stocked kitchen using the fresh fruits and vegetables from local stands. When we dined out, we enjoyed the many local restaurants and bars. But whether we ate at home or out, we capped off the night by sitting on their fabulous porch, drinking sangria, and savoring the moon and stars that glittered on the ocean’s surface. And, I never slept so well. Their bedding was soft but firm, and the Jacuzzi rejuvenated my muscles. By the end of our stay, we counted the minutes that we had left, as we didn’t want to leave. So, whether you are a lounger or a doer, you cannot go wrong in Stix’s paradise!

This wonderful condo is a terrific place for a great beach vacation in Puerto Rico. The condo is immaculate, comfortably furnished and fully equipped. It has fabulous views to a wonderful white sand crescent beach and is the perfect beach for swimming. There are lots of activities to do on the property including water sports, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, miles of beach walking and great restaurants within walking distance. There also options for island exploration nearby or just sitting on the beach and chilling. I would highly recommend this condo for a great vacation.

From the moment you walk into the Stix unit, your face lights up. Andi explained that their goal was to retire here as they personally use the unit for their vacations. Believe me, you can tell that this is not a typical rental. Everything is finely pointed, down to the extra-thick cushioned seats on the porch, with fans, and shades. No matter the weather, we dlighted their clear, unobstructed view of the beach and ocean each and every day.

I absolutely loved staying here! The apartment was spotless, steps from the beach and in excellent condition. The Stix's were so kind, they even called to ask if there was anything we needed while we were there. I really enjoyed the wrap around porch and barbecue. The apartment has comfortable beds, a flat screen tv and a jacuzzi in the master bathroom. I had an excellent, relaxing vacation!
