An old group of friends got together and rented the house for the weekend. It is a beautiful place and had plenty of room for our large group. The location is ideal. Everything was very well maintained. Could not ask for a better experience

Charming home in a charming location

I spent two days in the house and was very pleased. The house was clean and extremely cozy. This house exceeded all expectations and I would love to go back. The house sleeps 14 people and never once did I feel as if that many people were there due to the size and number of rooms.

Awesome home!

Just spent a week at this house and couldn't have found a better place. It is roomy, comfy, cute, great location....only complaint is upstairs can get a little warm sometimes, but then again, it was 106 degrees all week. Overall, we had a blast and LOVED the house!!!

Happy Mom and Grammy

What a beautiful and well maintained home. It has many charming details in decorating and provisions. Linens and towels are lovely and plentiful. We had studied the photos on the website, and were happy to find it even better than photos can capture! Walking distance to great bakery and ice cream shop; complete with baby birds on front porch. I was very pleased with the good communication with the owners' representative. Our family reunion included 7 adults and 9 children. The back yard is a paradise for kids, complete with swing set, hot tub and tiny pond with tadpoles- our two grandsons had a ball there, especially. We made some very special memories, and definitely plan to return for other visits. Would highly recommend for adult or family get-aways.

Great for Girl's Weekend Getaway

Guest: Maegan (Tyler, Tx)
Date of Stay: 04/01/11 Review Submitted: 04/04/11

We had our girl's weekend there with 11 adults and 2 babies and felt like we had plenty of space for everyone. The house was great for us to sit around and talk. The porch was also really nice to relax on. The location was perfect for shopping and eating. There is a train that runs frequently behind the house but it just adds to the charm and after the first day, we no longer noticed it. I would recommend it to anyone. Plus the price is great!

Owner response:Thank you for staying at our New Braunfels Galle Haus. You were great guests and I appreciate you leaving these comments. The train is very much a part of the New Braunfels area, it does bring a unique charm to our town. Thank you again and I hope you will come back soon. - Mike Prendergast (Manager)

Nice Home

Guest: Wedding Stay (Beeville,TX)
Date of Stay: 03/12/10 Review Submitted: 03/15/10

Great home. We enjoyed our stay in this house. We were in New Braunfels to attend our daughters wedding. Plenty of space and it was a perfect place for our daughter to spend the night and get ready for the church. Location was perfect because we were close to the church and convention center. Downtown was close enough for us to take a walk and relax. Pictures of the home online are exactly what you'll see. We do recommend, very clean, well-maintained!! Would like to suggest to owner a walking shower downstairs, because I had my elderly parents and it was difficult for them to get in and out of tubs downstairs and hard for them to climb upstairs to use the only walking shower.

Owner response:Thanks! We are so glad your family enjoyed the home for such a special event!
