The Giulio Cesare 150 square meeters apartement has just been fully renovated by a Roman Architect and you can tell from all the details it offers.
Located on the 3rd floor of an historical Palazzo, completely smoke free, this apartment is fully air conditioned (from May to September) with satellite TV and it has an elevator
You enter the flat and there is a large foyer with warm hardwood floors entrance, a living room on your right with two double paned big windows that overlook the street below, and very high breamy rectangular stone ceilings. The two enormous sofas are new and comfortable, a dining area with a table that can accommodate 8 people, a fully equipped kitchen restaurant style very modern with all the utencils: four-burner gas stove, electric oven, microwave, an american fridge.
The master bedroom has a double bed with an en suite bathroom, full aromaterapy bath with jacuzzi, and a separate toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with its own bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet as well. There is a lot of light and the flat remains very quiet.
The Metro Ottaviano is outside the door, the Vatican is in front of the flat, just two blocks away is one of the most popular shopping areas for locals, the Via Cola di Rienzo, which features fine clothing and gourmet food shops, good restaurants, cafes and prices that are a bit lower then the more touristy areas of the historic center (I repeat it is very well located a local market is there every day, bus stop and taxi stop are outside the door).
This apartment is very cozy, the ceiling is 4 meters high so it gives you the sensation of being in a palazzo.
It is also non-smoking/no pets, so no allergies.

We had a wonderful stay in Rome at Caroline's apartment. It is in a great location, very near the Vatican, wonderful shopping, fabulous food and convenient to everything. The neighborhood was safe, alive and friendly but we did not hear a sound until we stepped outside. There is a wonderful little coffee stand right outside the entry to the apartment building and we made friends with the owner. He knew exactly how we liked our coffee by the second day and when we left, the coffee was on the house. I loved the neighborhood.The apartment is quiet. It faces the street but we never heard a sound. Caroline is wonderful and gracious. I will stay there again when I return to Rome. We were so busy enjoying Rome we did not have time to cook or use the incredible tub but amenities are there if you want to cook. Everything is new, clean and modern. I really cannot say enough good things about the place. There was an internet cafe across the street, around the corner. Some of the best restaurants are in the neighborhood where the apartment is located and the best gelato in Rome is just across the street from St. Peter's Plaza...........you will love it. The apartment is across the street from a movie theatre and all the cab drivers know where the theatre is so it was very easy to find our way back at night. There are wonderful fruit markets on every corner and the grocers are so wonderful. I have to say that while I enjoyed Rome, it was great to come back to that neighborhood at the end of the day. It felt like home immediately because they got to know us and in that neighborhood, we did not feel like tourist. Have a great stay. Caroline will take excellent care of you. Janell

"April 7th, 2007. This spacious, immaculate, upscale, modern and avant-garde 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is brand new, well kept and has a number of features that make it a home away from home. We had a perfect week, 2 couples, using this as a base from which to explore the wonders of Rome. The kitchen is ultra modern stainless steel and is well equipped; the living room is spacious, has high end couches, and has a 40 inch panasonic flat screen TV and dvd unit.
