Mystic is like a home away from home. We absolutely love it up there. It is so beautiful to walk around, just hang out, play putt putt, sit in the gazebo, listen to music, and have family reunions. I love to go out on the kayaks and paddle around the lake. We try and go up every year for our family reunion... and I HATE when we have to miss it. If I could I would go up there on every vacation. It is a dream. It is so relaxing and Billy and Karla are just the best around! They have become family! If you are looking for somewhere to stay to relax and just have a nice time... this is it!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a fantastic place for a vacation getaway! The cabins had the amenities of home, comfortable beds, furnished living room, dining area and kitchen (including a full sized fridge and oven). Relaxing on the back porch, overlooking the lake was my favorite thing to do in the morning. There is plenty to do, a mini-golf course, a driving range, kayaking, etc... I swear the air does not get any fresher. There is a gorgeous pavillion-perfect for family picnics/reunions, parties, etc.. There is even a playground for the kids. Mystic Water Resort is only minutes away from Alleghany State Park. As if this resort wasn't perfect enough already, the hosts were beyond wonderful. What a great family, one that I am happy I was able to spend time with. I had the greatest vacation and can't wait to go back!!!! Whether you have small children, teenagers, are looking for a great romantic getaway or a place to go stay with a group of friends-this is it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Went here with some friends for the weekend in September 2011. The cabin had everything we needed. Cooking outside fire ring (waterside), park-like charcoal grill next to picnic table, sizable back porch with tons of seating, access to golf driving range. We did not get to go through the mini golf due to weather, but had an awesome time on the water. They provide 1 paddle boat, 1 double kayak, and about 4 single kayaks. Life vests and paddle right there and ready to go. Three adult men have never had so much fun gathering floating golf balls off of the lake. We spent majority of our time on the lake (even through the sprinkles). 15 minutes from Zippo museum and gift shop (must have if you're in the area). 15 minutes from Salamanca including their huge indoor consignment mall (another must have if you have a couple hours). Owners very non-intrusive and helpful at the same time. Felt like the place was ours for the weekend. Looking to get away for a week, a weekend, or for a place to stay when visiting family in the area - this is the place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We really enjoy the outdoors and changes of the seasons. We are located in a fantastic area for deer hunting to which Bill is an avid hunter.
Why the Owner Chose Limestone:
We've lived in this area all of our lives. We enjoy everything about this area and all it has to offer. We love the changing of the seasons, and all of the outdoor activities that go with each season. We love this area so much we thought it would be nice to share it with other people.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Quite tranquil area located on a man made lake that lives up to it’s name “Mystic” from dawn to dusk. Jog around the lake in a morning dew or fog and on occasion see the deer feeding on the banks of the lake.
