The house is perched high on a rock ledge overlooking Quonochontaug salt pond.
From the large deck you can enjoy lovely views of the water. Just steps away, the pond offers a small sandy beach (great for toddlers), swimming, fishing, boating (boat ramp close by).
Or a short drive (1.7 miles) around the end of the pond to the Shady Harbor private area of Weekapaug's gorgeous ocean beach. Bob in the surf under the watchful eye of our lifeguard, or from there you can cross the barrier island to the pond to explore and swim in those quiet waters.
The original house dates from the 1950's, finished with hardwood floors and pine paneling. The kitchen was new in 2000. An addition contains two large bedrooms that each sleep a family of four as well as a full bath.
The third bedroom is small and cozy with a double size bed and is adjacent to the original bath in the home.
